Friendly staff at a convenient location in Kensington. Cheeseburger was good especially with the battered chips. Coffee was a little on the tepid side but other than that above average.

Some of the best food, coffee and service around. When I get to jacks I’m always looked after immediately and the service is exceptionally friendly. They excel at just making it a pleasant experience. The food is a lot for your money as well, making it the perfect breakfast place!

I don’t have much to say about this place as I just had coffee but the service was good and the coffee was strong. It looked like they had a good menu and the newly renovated premises which are across the road from where it used to be on Anzac Parade are a big improvement to the pokey shop I remember from uni!

Food was a disappointment, so was the coffee. Two stars max…
Fish n Chip: Tasteless tartar sauce, overfried fish. BOO
Salt & Pepper Calamari: Poor, thin batter, falling off the calamari. BOO
Latte: Had a hint of burnt taste, yucks.
Service was good. But with three strikes, I do not see myself coming back. B.O.O

So much to love about Jacks. Situated across the road from Peter’s of Kensington, this is a regular spot for me and the flatties. Their bacon egg roll is my standby hang over cure and the coffees here are lovely. If you get lucky enough you can score a seat outside and watch the world go by while you enjoy great service and a bit of comfort food.
