Okay, i usually love burritos, and I go to this place frequently in attempts to redeem my poor experiences with it, and it has always been subpar :(Why are more of these joints are popping up than Mad Mex? I reckon mad mex packs a better salsa punch, their meat is of better quality and their tortilla is thinner/softer. Last time I tried a barramundi burrito, it was smelly with every bite and did not taste fresh. I don’t like how the level of spice is not customisable(or not advertised to be). It felt like the ‘mild’ salsa was absent and I was just eating rice beans and fish. When I had one of the spicier options in the form of a steak burrito bowl, it was just plain spicy, not much flavour and was difficult to finish.

Today was their opening day, so my friends and I went there for a free burrito. The food was better than expected.(yay!) I ordered the barramundi burrito bowl with guacamole. I would say that the bowl tasted better than the ones served at Tex Mex. The food itself remained relatively warm(yes, i hate it when my burrito bowl is warm AND cold) and there were at least 5 pieces of barramundi with the usual ingredient like shredded cheese/beans/rice/tomato. Very generous indeed! The size of the restaurant is relatively small. And unlike Tex Mex, you dont get to see the burrito/food made in front of you.(There is an «open» kitchen behind the cashier) Though the ingredients werent super fresh but hey, this is mexican fast food, so I cant be too picky ! Would definitely visit if I crave for another burrito bowl ;)
