Bad, very bad short black and poor service. Spacious inside and am unlikely to return.

The coffee was the only good thing about the experience, I had the smashed avocado with poached eggs and tomatoes on toast, and it was barely that. When I think of smashed avocado I think avocado smashed up with lemon juice, fetta and maybe even some mint. What I got was a slice of standard multigrain bread, flattened by the buttering, half avocado chopped, 2 cherry toms halved, 2 poached eggs, not runny enough to sauce the meal, and a minute squiggle of balsamic glaze. My wife had a croissant with bacon avo tomato and cheese, and again it was very plain and rather dry. I’m not sure how this rated so highly by others. Maybe the chef was on holidays today.

Just had an amazing breakfast with excellent service. There were four of us and we had three different types of pancakes and the warm croissant with tomato, avocado, bacon and cheese. Each dish was delicious. The flat white coffee was excellent too. Very smooth with excellent flavor.

I got the toasted & buttered coconut mango bread. $ 5WOW. obsessed. Real chucks of mango and coconut. The coconut wasn’t overpowering which I was afraid of. I’m not a huge coconut person. But holy, just get it. I reckon all the bread here is amazing. I wish I would’ve brought more home, but that would’ve been dangerous. Soy cap. $ 4.50 Great coffee. Really sweet ladies, and such a cozy café. With a backside patio you can sit and bask in the sun in. I wish I didn’t come so close to closing time. And I could’ve enjoyed it more. I HIGHLY recommend this place. Love it.

Great food and great location. From the outside this doesn’t look very special, but if you walk through, you’ll see the outside courtyard. It is a beautiful place to sit, and as I said that the food is good. I ordered the veggie platter for breakfast, and it was great… it honestly didn’t sound special, but everything on was fantastic. The beans are amazing — homemade and delicious. And the cherry on top of the veggie cake was the banana bread, fantastic! The only downfall was the coffee. Average. Drinkable, but not good. Usually I can’t walk away from a place until have a couple of cups, but after one cup I was done — which means something. But ignoring the coffee, come for the food. So I was going to give this place 3 stars because of the coffee, but the staff are so friendly and so helpful that I have to give this place 4 stars.

Great location just off the main street through Kiama village — perpendicular to the ocean and closer to the blowhole than the rest of the strip. You can see the shore from the sidewalk seating and window tables inside. Food was better than expected. Standard breakfast and sandwich café menu, although fairly limited. I really enjoyed my mango chicken salad and their homemade aioli dressing was sweet and went perfectly with the cashews and red onions mixed in. Coffee was also quite good. My partner’s BLT looked a bit boring but was stacked with heaps of bacon, so good value there. Good food, great atmosphere, cute decorations, friendly service, and a scenic setting — what more can you ask for from a small ocean town café?
