The guys and gals at Pixel know what they are doing, offering incredible coffee and food for all. Plenty of options for those with dietary requirements. I’m gluten and dairy free so it’s always nice to walk into a café and have yummy healthy options to choose from that I can eat. As I was visiting from the east coast Pixel came highly recommended by a family member as THEPLACE for good coffee and Acai bowls. I wasn’t lead astray, even stopping by a second time. First visit for a late lunch, walked in to a beautifully styled café with flowers on tables and blankets on the chairs outside incase you are cold. Greeted by friendly staff more than willing to answer my inquisitive questions about the menu. I couldn’t go past the Acai bowl. It was incredible, topped beautifully with fresh fruit, granola and edible flowers, almost too pretty to eat… Almost. Second visit was for breakfast, a staff member had highly recommended the warm porridge. My mind was blown, delicious doesn’t even begin to describe how great it was and I haven’t even gotten to the coffee yet. Which Incase you were wondering is just as incredible as the food. There was a constant flow of people passing through for a morning coffee on their way to work. If you are visiting Perth or even a local looking for something new do yourself a favor and make sure you stop by… No regrets here! :)

Small but cosy café just right next to the Leederville Tafe Campus. Easy to find n many parking spots(ticket needed) Staff was friendly, menu choice is limit but tend to be healthy food. Coffee was ok, green juice not fresh made but from bottle. Overall experience was ok, not very surprising yet service was good.

Prettiest coffee I’ve ever had. This is one where you can judge a book by its cover — pretty and with substance. The coffee was on point and you can even choose your coffee bean. The cake cabinet was pretty too win a variety of naughty, nice and healthy choices. We opted for a light and zesty orange cake and a dense date cake with a tangy lemon curd. No crumbs were left to be the scene. The place itself is pretty too. Honestly not an ugly element there, except my sleep deprived head. It is as small as people say, which means sitting outside on the footpath with the pram(it was a stunning day), or heading somewhere else. One of the café workers dog is based outside who has a beautiful temperament and was a topic of conversation as passerbys thought she was mine. The staff are friendly and if pretty could describe someone’s nature I’d use that too. In summary — this place is pretty and lives up to its looks.

Superlatives not required. Trending as the best coffee in Perth with a range of options from Nicaragua, Kenya, and Colombia to name a few. Seriously awesome cakes that rival the best desserts available. Lucky if you can get a seat and if not worth the wait.

The perfect start to the Sunday, sipping on nitro brew single origin coffee. I’ve chosen to have the Paleo Nourish Bowl for breakfast today. Containing vegetables, proteins, nuts and seeds, poached egg, seeded avocado and bacon. Can’t wait! Dare I say, could this be my favourite café in Perth?

Pretty pretty food and tasty too! Hard to choose from the array of quality salads, cakes, muffins, slices, healthy and slightly less healthy [but irresistable] options. Lovely fresh fit out, interesting chairs that might leave strange impressions on your bare legs, free papers to mooch, lovely creamy coffee. My only gripe, though, the usual — I don’t want to find onion in my salad bowl when I specifically check if it’s present before I order and am assured there is none.

This little café has an outdoor seating area with colourful blankets and five to six tables inside. The counter is covered in delicious looking sweet treats. For those in a hurry, there are wraps and sandwiches in the glass display. Their brekkie menu is extensive with their most popular dish being the nourish bowl ranging from 15 to 17 dollars where you get flowering greens, nuts, seeds, a poached egg and choice of poached chicken, salmon or vegetarian(tofu and mushrooms). Being known for their coffee, they have a large selection of coffee types from drip to cold brew. Their mocha and hot chocolate contains melted coverture chocolate. But prices are hefty with mochas, hot chocolates and chais costing 5.60. They also have a large selection of chais. I went in wanting the stormy mushrooms but it wasn’t on their menu. Got the pumpkin plate which is 17.50 and comes with ciabatta toast, two poached eggs, cream cheese, leaves(‘salad’), and three thin slices of pumpkin. The service is excellent. I got an extra hot mocha and it was lukewarm when I got it. They replaced it with a new extra chocolatey one when I asked them to heat it up in the microwave. Food arrives swiftly. Staff is all smiles. The pumpkin plate was ok. Nothing spesh but am definitely going back for the coffee and service.

I couldn’t decide on the rating for this place because I’m so sucked in by the décor and how beautifully presented the food is when it comes out. The cakes are just stunning, in presentation and in flavor. This little coffee shop definitely boasts all the right attractions for the leederville folk. But there’s something I just can’t quite out my finger on about it that stops me giving it a 5 star. I went for lunch recently and ordered a veggie bowl– sounded appetizing and healthy. The lady said it was filled with goodness– grilled zucchini, kale, avocado etc. and you get to pick your own choice of protein. I opted for the poached chicken. Presentation was stunning when it came out, the chicken tender and cooked well, the avocado dipped in sesame seeds and drizzled in Olive oil. But there was no kale, and there was a poached egg. I maybe didn’t read the menu, but wasn’t expecting a poached egg with my greens and protein. Was a nice little touch on the side. The vego bowl was tasty, well salted and flavored. I give Pixel 4 out of 5 for this lunch experience.

Been here a couple times and am keen to go back for more. Their breakfasts are super tasty and sweet treats are amazing, I’m talking about the peanut butter chocolate brownie. Good coffee too and the Nitro Brew is an interesting way to do coffee if you’re keen to try.

The avocado mash with poached eggs was so tasty I forgot about how good my coffee was! My wife couldn’t finish her omelette with salmon, capers and slivers of zucchini, had to help! Awesome combination of tastes. Genuinely friendly staff with smiles on everything including the coffee! Couldn’t fault anything

Pixel Coffee Brewers has only been open for a few months, but has done a great job of placing itself near the top of many Perth«must visit» lists, including mine. If you’ve been anywhere near social media in the last few months you’ve probably seen a photo of at least one of their amazing cakes. We arrived just after 7am on Saturday morning and were surprised that we were the only customers, especially since there was a stream of what appeared to be tradesmen and cyclists going in and out of the rather average looking Juggler Café directly opposite. We wondered if it was because Pixel Coffee looks quite«feminine» inside(for want of a better word) and if so then they’re missing out. The fit out and styling of Pixel Coffee is quite beautiful, and there has been some serious attention to detail putting the whole place together. Speaking of serious, most of the bench space is occupied by coffee paraphernalia and it showed in the quality of my two coffees(cappuccino and the long mac I left with). Coffee is from Melbourne roaster Seven Seeds. I was in the mood for something savoury but knew that I’d be able to pinch some of Renay’s meal so I chose the French toast with banana, chocolate mascarpone and blackberry syrup($ 17.50). Thankfully the dish wasn’t overly sweet, and I was concerned that the chocolate mascarpone would be too rich but it was actually very subtle and probably my favourite thing on the plate. Renay chose the«stormy mushrooms»($ 20.90) with polenta, parmesan, poached eggs and kale chips. The mushrooms were very tasty(a little salty for my liking), poached eggs perfectly plump and the polenta smooth and warm. Yum. Pixel Coffee is a little out of the main Leederville strip — although opposite The Re Store so hardly in the middle of nowhere — and unfortunately we were too early to see any of Pixel’s incredible looking cakes, but based on today’s experience we’ll definitely be back.

Came here for an afternoon coffee and cake. We ordered the almond milk chai’s and oh my word they were the best I’ve ever had! They make their own almond milk(wow!) the chai’s were creamy and delicious. They had a gorgeous range of cakes(gluten free and vegan options) I got a pear and muesli muffin which did not disappoint. The staff were friendly and the interior is just gorgeous. Light and bright with pastel tiles, also their china is just lovely! Be warned though it is only a small little joint so be careful what time you come as you may not get a seat. Definitely worth a visit.

Good, friendly service! Lovely customer service from the barista… Excellent coffee too! Breakfast menu all day until 2pm. Short selection; vegetarian & vegan options. Small café, not convenient for large groups, 2 – 4 people would work best. Fast service for being packed! Would recommend and come back again!

The establishment looks beautiful, it’s busy and the food is presented well but the taste in my classic pix was not there. There was no butter ok my toast or on the side and my toast was so burnt and cold I couldn’t cut through it. My poached eggs were nice bacon averagely cooked — as in some bits over cooked and some under, what I would expect in a cheaper café. Others on the table had the stormy mushrooms which a mate said was nice and the pumpkin plate was good too. However the sweet French toast was burnt too and my friend who had that was unsatisfied. She has a sweet tooth as much as I do and is usually easily impressed but wasn’t. She thought it looked like meat and was put off by it the minute it was put on the table. It was busy so we ended up on the shared table and tried to save seats for other in our party but other people were told to sit there anyway. So it was a bit of an issue with 2 ppl without a seat. There was a bit of a wriggle around and we were offered another stool so it worked out ok. As we were on a joint table though we kept being brought meals that weren’t ours and there was a lot of confusion from guests and staff. There were no numbers either which made it twice as hard when they brought one meal from one group and another from a different group, out at the same time. I’m sad I recommended this for my friends who I haven’t had to catch up with for a while as we were not all satisfied with our meals and were quite crammed at the end of the table with 5 of us! The coffee was good but I don’t think it’s worth the prices of the trip out to Leederville. I would not recommend this place.

I walked in the door of Pixel Coffee and fell in love with the tiles. Not my usual response to a café, but the design work here is just gorgeous. Add fresh flowers on each table, bright smiles from the staff, and a very good long black in a mug… and you’ve got a really lovely way to start the day. The muffins were a bit late on the morning I arrived, so I waited at the table with my coffee and watched the morning crew drift in. Come on in, too! I’ll be back for some of the treats in the cabinet later in the day. I might eat muffins for breakfast but I leave cake for the afternoons…

Pixel’s interior is what my house would look like if my partner didn’t have any input — sea foam green and white coloured everything, with gorgeous blooms on every table. The coffee is good. The food seems to currently constant of a hot breakfast menu and a couple of salads and a few bread based lunch options. The cakes are the real standout, I tried to chocolate and basil cream cake and yes it was as good as it sounds. Staff are friendly. I’d be here a lot more if they had WiFi.

I was immediately taken by the beautiful fit out which uses tones of white, turquoise, pine and copper. It’s how I’d want to design my ideal kitchen colours for sure — feminine but not overly girly. The counter is piled high with delicious looking cakes and tarts, plus a cabinet with salads and sandwiches waiting to tempt you. Sadly we’d missed the breakfast menu which finishes at 11.30am, but with the counter laden with other options, our disappointment was short-lived. How could you not be tempted by such gorgeous house-made treats! After a quick contemplation we place our orders at the till then take a seat. It’s such a small dining area, but as I watched customers come and go I quickly realised that most visitors were after take away treats and drinks. Our drinks come out quickly much to my delight. My green tea($ 6.00) is a beautiful clear mug and I’m told by our waitress that the infuser has a couple more mugs out of it if I’d like complimentary top ups of hot water. It’s a really nice touch which makes you see value for money. My mushroom and feta tart(warmed up) easily makes up for being unable to order off the breakfast menu. The base is buttery and so wonderful short it crumbles in my mouth. I love the earthy mushrooms that are perfectly accompanied by the creamy feta. It’s a classic flavour combination for a reason! And as a dish, it’s actually quite hearty to my surprise. I order a wild rice and pumpkin salad on the side(all up I think I spent $ 13.00) which has kale and nasturtium flowers, plus an array of seeds sprinkled around the plate. It’s a very healthy dish, but there’s just so much flavour you can’t help but enjoy every bite. I am a huge fan of wild rice with it’s nuttiness and al dente texture, offset by the sweet, toothsome pumpkin. As great as the tart was, I would have happily just had this salad on it’s own — it really was punchy and ideal for an Autumn day’s lunch.

Great first experience at Pixel Coffee in Leederville. The fit out is gorgeous. White walls and glass frontage really open up the small exterior. The coffee is great. The tea selection contains more than just the usual suspects. Breakfast menu sounds enticing. I’ll be back tomorrow to try it out!
