Suburban Grind

In a place where there is not much else around, this café is really pleasant. Good coffee, and the baked eggs are nice.

Good food, have been here a few times now for breakfast and have enjoyed it each time. The coffee can be a bit hit and miss with the taste and temperature, but overall i have no problem recommending them to others.

People say living in the burbs is cheap… well $ 5.50 for a coffee is not cheap! I waited 20 mins to be served & then a further 15 mins to actually get my coffee. Desperate times call for desperate measures & that is the only reason I was willing to wait (I also attempted to cancel my order but they insisted they were making it as we spoke…) This is the only café in the complex which would have to be the only reason people go there.
My coffee was ok but not $ 5.50 worth of ok that’s for sure. The staff were quite rude & there was about 6 of them behind the counter, this is a classic case of many hands not always meaning fast work. I can’t comment on the food as I didn’t eat nor do I ever plan to, who has that much time to wait seriously?

This was our first visit. Quite a nice little café and enough space to put my elderly mother in laws walker without being in the way of staff and customers which is a bonus. On walking in my first impressions were how very clean it was. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. I had a Pumpkin and Feta Turkish roll which was quite nice. My husband said his sausage roll was very nice as well and the coffee tasted really good. All there produce is sourced locally which is also a plus. Would recommend dropping in on these guys.

This coffee shop replaced another one in the same location. The staff seem a bit inexperienced but they’re catching on fast. It’s about as close to an inner suburb café as you’re going to find this far out of the city.
Their eggs benedict wasn’t great on the first visit we made here but they were apparently having trouble with the newly installed stove. No qualms about going back for another one though!
