This place has been great recently– tasty grub and excellent service

When you pay $ 26 for a prawn linguini you expect to get more than 3 prawns in your pasta.
Luckily the staff at the bar were very happy to amend the problem.
Really long wait for food.

Stayed at the motel for the night was amazing. Great service with all friendly smiles. Beautiful rooms very spacious and comfortable. bathroom was the best with enough room for 2.
Dinner was great. Lovely flavours that melt in your mouth. Very full after entrée would suggest share an entrée and then mains. Excellent meal size with friendly waiters. Would have loved to stay longer.

The service at Mahogany Inn was fabulous. Our waiter was superb — right from the initial phone booking. One of the things that really stood out for me that he interacted with our son. So many people don’t even acknowledge children when dining out; but he gave him a high five, asked him questions and was generally very welcoming towards us all.
This was our first visit to Mahogany Inn. I had expected something a little more «old-​y world-​y» but after a refurb in the last couple of years it’s very contemporary. It’s one of the oldest Hotels in WA, pipped to the post by just one year by Guildford’s Rose and Crown. This 186 year old inn has is steeped in history and was even a hideout for the infamous West Australian bushranger Moondyne Joe. He was reportedly captured here after years on the run.
We sat in one of the very cosy dining rooms — the outdoor area under the trees looked inviting, but it was a hot day. We ate; Steak Sandwich ($ 19), Cone Bay Barramundi ($ 33) Pork Belly ($ 35) and Garlic Prawns ($ 30 main size). We all enjoyed our meals. It’s well worth a visit to the INN if you’re in the Mundaring area. Great service and well cooked, quality food.

Relaxed atmosphere, great food and service. We have been here a few times on a Sunday afternoon for wine and appetisers and sat in the garden. Place has been renovated from they way it was before and has a very modern look and style.
