Roll’d

There is limited good food near to where I work, so to realise Chadstone is only a 20 minute walk away (hello shopping), and with Roll’d inside — makes me a happy camper.
Roll’d = awesome. Recommend the BBQ chicken and soft shell crab cold rolls, with chili mayonnaise! Yum.

The tofu rice paper rolls /​soldiers are delicious. They have also introduced a second vegetarian rice paper roll option, Omelette, that I am yet to try. Other roll options include pork and prawn, bbq chicken, barramundi and soft-​shell crab.
The rice paper rolls always have the right amount of filling, with plenty of herbs.
Choose from the five dipping sauces on offer: chilli mayonnaise, nuoc mam, garlic chilli oil, spicy hoisin or plain hoisin. YUM!

Don’t let the line to the store fool you. This dressed up over priced Vietnamese food is not up to the standard is should be.
I’m a big fan of the Vietnamese pork roll and maybe comparing Roll’d to the local bakery isn’t fair, but considering it’s almost double the price it just doesn’t justify itself to me.
It’s a shame because I had high hopes for this chain.
