We came here to use a Cudo voucher. Staff seemed new, but very friendly and helpful. The food was nice, but not amazing. Their warm olives are not worth ordering. Café Lagom might be a better choice for breakfast or lunch, but not for dinner.

Made with dukes coffee beans, which is all well and good. It was the reason why I stopped as I walked by to have a coffee there. The thing is though, it was the weakest coffee I’ve had in a long time. I’d have to have a triple shot to give it the strength equivalence of your average café. It was very disappointing.

I’ve been here quite a few times, mostly for their breakfasts, and a few times for lunch, alone or with friends, and have been thoroughly impressed every time. They serve up some of the best risotto I’ve ever had, specifically their duck risotto that tastes sensational well after you are already completely stuffed. They also make a pretty mean big breakfast, and as picky as I am about coffee, I like theirs. Arguably the best place to eat at or near that bustling section of Glenferrie Rd. Pro tip: I’ve noticed Café Lagom on quite a few daily deal websites recently, and they also offer 2-for-1 shop-a-docket specials. So if you’re on a budget but want to go someplace awesome in the area, keep your eyes peeled for deals.
