Kmart Tyre and Auto

All I had done was get a new battery but here is what happened that impressed me.
1. I call and find out the battery will be $ 50 less here than at Eastern Suburbs Automotive where I had gone for an assessment. I also learn that I can stop by anytime, I do not need an appointment which is handy.
2. I get there and the guy at the front is pretty handsome and has great eye contact and a nice smile… this is obviously of huge importance when finding a car place.
3. He calls me while I am wondering around Marrickville metro to tell me that my battery is at 40% and that I do not need a new one just yet — wow honesty. I tell him that my battery died last time I left my car in a garage for a week and I am going away now for 2– 3 weeks and I really don’t want to have to find someone to jump my car again or worse come back to a completely dead battery. He agrees
4. I get a text when they are done with my car.
It was just that easy and it was nice to have a place to wonder around while they did the work.
I opted for the more heavy duty battery that comes with a 3 year warranty and the service and status is in the system so I don’t need to keep a receipt or anything should I need to follow up on the battery and warranty.
The bag thing was that when I got back from my trip to Thailand my car was completely dead and although they replaced that battery when I took it back I still have no idea what is draining the battery and am afraid to leave my car now for more than a few days. I would give them 5 stars if they had figured that part out when I had explained what was happening or when I had brought the car back for a new battery.
