massive fan. napoli style pizza. san marzano tomatoes, buffalo mozzarella. great dough and now they deliver which is great if you are no more than 10 minutes away as this pizza hates to travel. there is very little seating there but i have been known to sit on the side of the road to eat and bask in the ambience of sydenham rd. the only drawback is that i tend to order 2 pizzas and on 1 occasion 3 pizzas so i’m probably going to get fat. but at least i’ll be fat and happy.

Amazing pizza. Get the margarita. Service was excellent. Would definitely go back for a second helping. What a meal! What a deal! What a steal!

I had a pretty good Capricciosa pizza here — artichokes, olives, and some of the most delicious ham ever. I wasn’t bowled over though… I really wanted to be though! I really really wanted to be :( But I do have to say, the individual toppings were super fresh and they were really delicious. But all together, the pizza wasn’t amazing… it was just like, good but nothing really special. The dough didn’t strike me as particularly crispy, crunchy and woodfired or anything, and thats what is supposed to be the really big deal about this place is the amazing woodfired oven shipped over from Italy. The crust, I have to say was absolutely NOTHINGSPECIAL on my pizza. Sorry guys. That’s what ultimately made this particular review 3 stars instead of 4 or 5. Maybe my expectations were too high? I’ll have to try it again and maybe just stay and eat my pizza at Wicks Park or on some crates outside so that its right out of the oven. The staff are super nice though! Also, I wish they had an anchovy + olive pizza. Whenever that is on the menu, there is nothing else on my agenda. Hehe.

I have tried Nom Pizza twice now and was satisfied. The reason it is not five stars is they are only takeaway and after 15 minutes to get the pizzas home they were a bit soggy. I really like their style of pizza, but if you can’t eat it quick by either living close or walking over to the park to eat it then be warned. Great pizza, but be aware of the time constraints.

Nice crust and some very good toppings, including prosciutto and rocket. Takeaway only, but while we were waiting we were treated to free samples! Happy hour from 5 – 6 pm: Any pizza for $ 15. We will be back.

I can not express just how good Nom really is. But that’s never stopped me before so here we go. The team at Now have basically transplanted a little slice of Naples directly into the heartland of Marrickville. If you want pizza original enough for a Mafia Don, run, do not walk, to Nom right now. I’ll wait. We were fortunate enough to be taking our evening repast late in the evening while the proprietor Ryan was finishing up for the night. We got chatting and he was happy to give us a full tour of the store, starting with the ingredients. Everything, and I mean everything, that isn’t fresh produce has been imported from Italy. The flour, the olive oil, the cheese, the tomatoes, even the WHOLEFREAKINGPIZZAOVEN. Yes, they imported the wood fire pizza oven from Milan. They had to remove the store front window and crane the thing in for crying out loud! Most importantly, the artisans behind the little slices of heaven they serve have also been imported from Naples. These guys make the bases in a traditional style, with rounds of dough flying everywhere in a show just as good as the food. Oh the food! We had the margherita first up. This is simple fare, prepared with the freshest ingredients and so, so much love. Every ingredient stood clear and perfect. This is as good as pizza gets. On suggestion from Ryan we also tried the pumpkin and feta because in his words«it also tastes great cold if you can’t finish». He wasn’t wrong. I’ll deviate and say that the coffee was so damn good, I was checking my pulse in case I’d died and gone to heaven. Please do not go there is your idea of good pizza is an oily, thick base piled high with cheap meat and cheese. Do go there if you want some of the very best pizza in Sydney.

Perfect, classic pizza. Awesome dough, with the topping bringing out its flavour.

Great pizza. Tried the Margarita, and Supreme — not too thick, not too thin.

I was really disappointed. Nom seems to have the pizza focus right: some tasty-sounding varieties, no substitutions, only one size. Marrickville needs a pizza place that takes the craft seriously. The first pizza I had from here, though — pumpkin and feta — was not good at all. The crust was a bit tough. The toppings were quality, but very sparse; that, combined with the thin crust, meant it got cold instantly. Since they don’t deliver, and you can’t eat in, that’s a real problem! The whole thing was WAY too salty, which was unnecessary given the saltiness already in the feta. Not at all worth $ 17. Not worth $ 10. I’ll probably try another type of pizza sometime to see if this was a one-off; I see lots of other people think it’s quite good. But it was a pretty poor first experience for me.
