This would have to be the worst café I have ever set foot in. Ordered a bagota breakfast with a side of baked beans and a salmon patty… I was amazed at watching them cook my breakfast. The tin supermarket baked beans were heated in the microwave… $ 2.50 for 2 tablespoons of the most foul tasting baked beans on earth, it gets worse… microwaved poached eggs! The salmon patty was microwaved too. Dry and overcooked on the outside and a sloppy mess on the inside… the toast dry and the bacon burnt. Absolutely the most awful food ever. 1 star is too much for this bogus café!

Walked over here from the Holiday Inn for some coffee. Friendly service, great coffee, nice ambience. It’s what I look for in a coffee shop. 5 stars. I didn’t have any food, but this is a coffee shop and I came for coffee.

Bogota is an old school roaster. They know their target market and they are focused on providing that sort of consistency. This is a positive/negative result depending on what it is you are trying to get out of the experience. What they are not is one of the modern roasters, lightly roasting a single origin to promote an array of delicate flavours and aromas. Instead, the dark roasted coffees, sometimes smokey and ashy, are bold and strong. The value of this type of coffee may not be in drinking it every day, but using it to broaden your palate. Like a peaty whisky, enjoy and revel in the difference, as it is through that, the awesome service, and the interesting selection, that you’ll find good value here. Besides… if you need to pick up or drop off someone from the airport, why pay a ridiculous sum of money for parking when you can have a coffee and wait here. Btw, their is plenty of parking in the back. (Via: BitterBliss — )

Poor quality coffee, very limited selection of food, avoid if possible. I know these are harsh words but they are honest. My espresso came out smelling like burnt ash and my wife’s piccolo was no better. Disappointed considering we came here on a recommendation. We didn’t finish our coffees and are making our way over to Don Campos, which is proving to be a consistent provider of not only quality bean but also pouring skill.
