We were hungry and thought we’d try this hole in the wall thats close to home…
What a delightful surprise. There are about 4 tables that seat 2 people per table, its quite small and a very popular take away spot.
We ordered takoyaki
volcano –spice was excellent
small sashimi plate
garlic prawn roll — garlic goodness but didn’t over power the rest of the flavor
Everything was so good and presentation was excellent.
We aren’t big fans of the mayo on top so we would probably ask for no mayo next time we order.
Will definitely be coming back here.

This place likes to put a lot of cabbage (or radish? not sure) in their udon soup. in the chicken/​rice. everything. I find it a turn off to these otherwise delicious cheap japanese meals. The sushi is really good too. I recommend the volcano roll and the grilled sushi+sashimi. However most of the special sushi rolls contain ‘crab meat’. and when it contains crab meat it contains A LOT of it in proportion to other ingredients. It makes all the rolls taste similar so I would not want to order two rolls with crab meat again in one sitting!

Excellent food at a fantastic price. The sushi and sashimi are absolutely delicious. Plenty of other options as well and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly and prepare the food very quickly

Best sushi in south Sydney. Not a fancy joint, more of a quick bite or takeaway place, but really good food. Super fresh and incredibly tasty! Great value too, which is rare in Sydney. Staff are awesome!
