What a disappointment. This was by far the worst winery I have visited for a range of reasons. 1. The staff kicked off the poor experience. One would say this is concerning as they seemed to be the owners. Blatant rudeness included being ignored between tastings and eye rolls when we asked questions. We had no choice but to ask questions as when we asked for a tasting, the female owner simply poured the wine with no explanation or discussion of the tasting notes. Luckily there were bottles on the counter so we could read about the wine on there. I don’t mind paying for a tasting however if I do, I expect some basic level of service. 2. The kitchen where platters are made is on display but was a complete shambles. Food(including ham) was left on the counter for long periods of time. 3. I really wanted to taste the Gin however couldn’t justify the $ 5 per Gin taste(for a half shot) I don’t expect to pay more for a tasting than I would for a Gin in a nice bar. 4. I didn’t enjoy the wine. Overall, a horrible experience, we left before tasting the wines we wanted to. I would not recommend visiting this winery.

I walked in with seven people and was really looking forward to this place since it was raved on from a lady in Rockbare winery. I cancelled a booking we had at Huge Hamilton to go there and oh my… what a mistake! The older lady(Shelly) served us tastings for $ 5; one of my friends didn’t have cash on her and asked if she could pay on eftpos. She scoffed and said«well not for $ 5» in a really demeaning manner. We were poured 1 glass then she proceeded to turn around, back towards us and started making platters for other customers. We weren’t told any history about the winery or the wines on how it was created(bit of a shame, since we’ve learnt so much about the other wineries). She poured us 3 tastings and then proceeded to ignore us again after that, we were served by a young girl that was really nice but when we asked what was her favourite and what would she recommend us to have she said«Ooh, I don’t like wine» there was a bit of silence in the group… we asked what was the winery known for, and if she could tell us some history about the winery. All she knew was that it’s been there for 4 years. I asked to try some gin and the older guy was really nice and they were a bit busy but at least he took the time to explain about the gin and how to drink it which was fun! After the gin we were then asked if we were done, we clearly weren’t since we all still had wine in our glasses. I felt really uncomfortable and not welcome at all, such a shame since we were told it was a great place to go to. The gin though was very nice I will give them that and the view was nice.
