Perhaps one of the best bakeries in South Australia with more awards than you can poke a stick at. Been here several times and it never fails to impress. Although this isn’t my local bakery, I often end up here to sample some of their delicious pastries. The pies, sausage rolls and pasties are so soft and delicate yet so tasty. Filled with fresh vegetables rather than frozen fillings, you can taste the difference. They have a variety of gourmet pies for just a whisker under $ 5. One of my favorites is the steak and Shiraz pie. The pastry they bake is flaky but at the same time is no too thin or thick. Unlike other bakeries, the pastries(in particular pies) do not fall apart from a heavy filling. This is good as it avoids ending up with an embarrassing mess. Definitely worth a try. Can certainly give most bakeries a run for its money.
