Aldi! A pretty awesome place for shopping! Cheap prices, good range and lots of people! As I walked around I was pushed and shoved by so many people! My first time in there so I was aimlessly walking around! Just plotting myself around the store, scoping out prices and goods! I did lots of unnecessary shopping! But walked away with lots of fun things :-)! I’d recommend shopping here, just be prepared for impatience people and a busy shop !

Any ALDI is a good ALDI, with the exception of ALDI Nord anywhere north of Berlin. This ALDI however is a great ALDI. Came here on a Saturday morning as my friends decided on our girls weekend to Melbourne, she needed to go to ALDI hungover in the morning to attend the cheap ski and snow gear sale. This ALDI, is pretty consistent with most ALDIs but there is one thing this ALDI has that i’ve never seen else where, freshly baked goods. This freshly baked bread is the best and so cheap, nothing should set you back more than $ 1.50! The cheese and bacon roll which is only 99cents is the best one ive ever had. Crunchy on the outside, soft in the inside, with really crispy bacon pieces and loads of cheese, none of that plastic tasting stuff like the ones at Woolworths. The vegemite scroll is also to die for, huge and salty enough to resemble vegemite and only $ 1.50. I wish I could have tried the entire shelf of baked products… too bad for too many cool cafes in Melbourne. I want to find an ALDI bakery in Sydney now and commit carbacide so badly!!!

Now lets be honest, a supermarket is a supermarket but unlike your local and woolies, ALDI achieves prices that those store could not beat. I frequent ALDI when i need large quantities of the necessities. I stock up on long life milk(1L for $ 1), Flour(1kg for 89c) and even their(sometimes hilarious) European branded items taste similar if not exactly the same as their relatively more expense brother and sisters. European branded Nutri-Grain will only set you back a couple bucks instead of $ 7 or $ 8(What are they actually thinking? It’s cereal god-dammit!), so invest a visit to ALDI. You actually collect your items from the very crates and boxes they are delivered in. Only downside is they dont sell tofu and vegan products, but hey, I’m happy to walk out of their with whatever i can. Saves me a fortune every week!
