Flinders Books

Flinders Books on Swanston st is the sister store to the original on Flinders st, just around the corner. Like the other store, Swanton st sells second hand books covering every topic and genre you could think of. Of the two, this is the larger store, though I find it has less character than the other (I dont know why I notice this in a shop, but in book stores I definitely do).
I believe for a second hand book store, the stock is a little overpriced (See my review for the flinders st location for the reason why). The whole point of buying second hand books is that they are cheaper than new ones.
The service here is great. I was specifically on the look out for Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil, and when the shopkeeper couldnt find it in stock, she called the other store to see if they had it, and asked them to hold it for me. I thought that was nice of her, because she couldve just made me walk around and find out for myself. Sometimes a little goes a long way.
