Always love a JB. Friendly staff and great service. Great layout and tonnes to choose from.

The store is huge but a large part of the store is dedicated to DVDs and CDs. Something that I actually think is the thing of a past. A few newly released CDs that I checked were twice the price they were on iTunes. I personally prefer to buy musics, movies and tv shows online which is convenient and easy. Also the speaker that I bought from here wasn’t that good of a quality considering its $ 350+ price tag. When you go to a store you put your trust in their speciality and knowledge to serve you best not to just sell you stuff.

Having like 1 million JB Hi-Fis on the same street makes for a pain in the ass figuring out which store has what you need. It’s like when Yu-Gi hides his Dark Magician with the«Magical Hats» trap card in Yu-Gi-Oh. Take your pick of which JB Hi-Fi has your goal item. Regardless of the strangeness of having 3 stores, this JB-Hi is not that special either. Sure you have the cheap prices that every JB Hi-Fi offers you, but I came here to buy a few CDs of Queen Beyonce for collection purposes(because CDs are pretty much outdated with the new digital age). The result? The CDs were fine, but I’ll probably have to end up purchasing a few new cases because the cases came cracked and hideous, which shows a massive flaw on JB Hi-Fi’s part — they don’t actually take care of their merchandise. Uh oh! What if next time it’s not just the case — but the actual product inside as well? Customer Service: Overall, the employees at JB Hi-Fi are pretty helpful. Unfortunately… there’s one major GLARING problem — they’re all wearing casual everyday clothes! I mean, okay, no official uniform is whatever but not even like a dress code of maybe black tshirt and black jeans? Or yellow to rep the JB colours? No, I’m not concerned about fashion. It’s more of the fact that there is ABSOLUTELYNOINDICATION as to who is an employee and who isn’t! ATLEASTGETYOUREMPLOYEESSOMENAMETAGS! Because what I end up doing is looking awkwardly at someone who is «maybe» an employee and hopefully I see them doing employee shit like straightening out CDs. It’s impractical and a bit dumb considering that JB Hi-Fi is a chain as well. — Overall, this particular JB Hi-Fi is outdated and will probably die soon. Regardless, their poor treatment of their product and awkward customer service makes for a poor time.
