Puzzles, board games, role playing and even those wooden/​metal games you play by yourself until you smash it apart from frustration.
I hate those things. So tricky! My basic mind can’t handle 3D puzzles, so the rings will be forever linked, and the wood forever in different pieces.
Mind Games is a great place to collect all your gaming needs. That’s gaming that doesn’t require consoles. Just straight up, ready to go games.
They have a huge selection of board games and role playing games. If you head up the back you’ll see a whole nook dedicated to the art of role playing. It’s pretty exciting.
Card games! They also have card games, I almost forgot. So basically, everything.
Topped off with helpful and friendly staff. Great!

I went into Mind Games to see if there was anything new in the Call of Cthulhu scenarios. I was also wondering if there would be something suitable for a birthday present for an old friend. At first I head straight to the back where the replaying games are. Then I have a look around at all the puzzles, the chess sets and new board games.
So many new board games; just when you thought that computer games had taken over there is a resurgence of quality board games. Over the years I have been here many times. As a young gamer this was a treasure trove of delights. I have one of their chess set, lots of roleplaying game scenarios, cards games and numerous dice — I’ve had so many hours of fun it makes their price look cheap now.
