This store is small but is packed with lots of cool stuff. There are heaps of cool tees, jewellery, little stationary knick-​knacks etc. It’s very Melbourne, plus the staff are always really lovely and happy to let you browse and assist where needed. Every time, we go into the store we always end up buying something! It’s fantastic for last minute gifts!

A funky boutique filled with a mix of fashion, accessories, knick knacks and specialty items that you find yourself buying because of its «oh my gosh thats so cute/​cool/​funky» appeal.
The fashion aspect of the store mainly focuses on print tees that catch the eye with bright volours and statement images. If you’re a t-​shirt kinda gal or guy, you’ll find some unique designs that arent available elsewhere. Otherwise, they also supply some great jewellery and fashion accessories, including bags and head wear.
Im personally more interested in the bits and pieces you’l find around the store — I’ve seen everything from fake non disposable coffee cups and homemade cards, to funky kitchen utensils and table décor items.
Its worth a look in at the store, and even though its small you dont feel like the sales attendant is eyeing you off the whole time. Its quite comfortable to just browe. And you never know what you could find.

Fantastic little store full of great tees and jewellery. Their prints range from the cute to the more contemplative. It’s nice to be presented with that selection. Their prints are also on canvas bags and plates and mugs so if you want to switch it up you can.
There’s a fantastic range of bronze and silver jewellery; their necklaces are particularly great, I couldn’t resist and got one. Monster Threads fits in with the alternative, contemporary crowd who love new design and culture. The staff are super friendly and helpful without being over bearing at all.
Which was a complete relief after a day of day service from everyone else!
Now that Christmas is coming up it would be a great spot to get some presents for your family, friends and yourself.

I walked in here for the first time on my 15 minuet break, tried on three T-​Shirt, brought them, and had time to get a favourite muffin in Centre Place.
I am a big fan of little boutique Melbourne clothes shop, especially those that have cute designs. I am always getting little comments about the clothes that I buy from here. Conveniently you can buy their products online which means that I don’t even need to be on my break the next time I want a shirt as I now know what size fits me.

Found the one of the many roofed arcades of Melbourne, Monster Threads sticks or like a sore thumb. The kind you close in the door to have. This kind of craft and specialty wares is hard to find in the city — in many cases shoppers push north — do it’s refreshing to have such a place within walking of Flinders Street station. Clothes and accessories, cards and jewelry, crafted wares of high quality and reasonable price. The window decals will get you in, and you’ll be out again with an armful of goodies.
