Great cup of coffee. Awesome crêpe, burrito style, the big breky crêpe. The interior is interesting with the project theme throughout. Nice helpful staff.

Project 219? Not the best experience here. Sunday morning — fairly quiet and nobody is in the store so we decided to give it a try. After waiting very long, one meal out of the five arrived. By the time this meal was finished, the final four came out. The meals were cold. Very cold. And very overdone. When asking to have them heated up, they were placed on a hot plate — this cooked the meals even more. A nice concept for the venue(modern décor) but we will unfortunately NOT be returning back here.

Got two burgers from Project 219 after walking past it several times, the price was on the steeper side for a burger but as it was burger night, it included a soft drink or beer. The burgers were big however it was lacking a kick and it fell apart quite easily. I really like the layout here but if I ever did go back, I would try a crêpe as that was what everyone seemed to be ordering!

Neat little café with prices more in line with what I’m used to. Gluten free and veg items are called out right on the menu so diet-sensitive folks don’t have wonder. Coffee has body as it is a tad bitter. Free wifi in an area without many options.

Still lots to discover here, I need to get amongst it. I’m sure you’ll start seeing a few more check ins from me here as I feel like this place needs to unravel on me. My experience so far is average. This is due to the lack of breakfast options for on the go, without thinking you need to have a full on meal. Coffee is nice, and the store layout it awesome, basement bar for seating too which is really cool. The have good happy hour here for drinks and also good specials. Its just hard to determine whats what and when is when. Staff were shocked at my overall excited morning vibe(which rarely happens) and stuttered to give me answers on what my breakfast options should be. I just got directed to a table with muffins on it.(not my opinion of breakfast, not all the time)

Buried amongst the beauty parlours and Asian restaurants of China town is a wonderful hipster coffee lounge and creperie with soon to be cocktail bar. This is the only café around China town where you can kick back on comfy leather chairs and while away time reading with a nice cuppa, or perch on a stool at a large table and work on your laptop with the free wifi. When you have had enough of work venture down to the basement for a few rounds of Foosball to shake out the cob webs. The basement is also a cool haven on Melbourne’s hotter days. The menu is varied with crepes, breakfast wraps, hamburgers and desserts so you are bound to find something to fill a whole. They also have a range of beers and soft drinks. My new favourite home away from home. I really hope these guys succeed and inspire more businesses like them to open up in this area.
