I tried nasi, taste is delicious, but presentation is not good, unclear, especially on the boss-fatguy-face look like girly, when i met him first time, he made me confusing this is man or woman, the face like girly, but body like mucle guy, this is really freaky, i felt very uncomfortable, presentation should be clear for customer to feel comfortable,

I have a slight addiction to rice paper rolls. If I see one, I want one. I can’t help it. The standard at Spices Connection is okay. Not brilliant — but good. Perfect if you need a quick light bite while strolling around Melbourne Central. Standard flavour of beef, chicken and prawn offered in packs of two and four including combo’s of each. Great to share if you can’t decide on one. They seems to have the ratio of noodle to meat right which is usually my main complaint with rice paper rolls. I wouldn’t go out of my to come here but it is handy and usually tasty. Cash only!

It seems to have become a habit of mine to come here when exiting Melbourne Central Station, especially if going out the Elizabeth Street exit. Lets be honest, you don’t usually expect much when eating fast food from a bain-marie, but I have been surprised and impressed by Spices Connection. Good range of food, and highlights for me include the curry puffs, spicy chicken, fried rice, and the ubiquitous Mongolian beef(whatever that actually is, I don’t know, but I like this incarnation). Things to watch our for from my experience include the spring rolls(I got a floury tasting one), and perhaps the desire of the staff to throw in a drink with every purchase. I will continue to stop buy, especially on hungover days.
