Since moving to Melbourne i have struggled to find a good thai restaurant that i would be happy to eat at again. That was until i found Thai Chilli Café! This restaurant will be exactly what you want; great authentic thai dishes(large servings as well!!), cheap prices and right in the heart of the city! Highly recommended!

Had just gotten off the train and was looking for something to eat when I came across the Thai Chilli Café. Ordered the chicken and cashew nuts which was fantastic, full of flavour, heaps of sauce and some chilli for that added kick. All meals are served with rice as part of the price which is great. Ordered 3 meals and drinks and still got change out of a $ 50 dollar note. If your looking for great Thai food at an affordable price I would definitely recommend going to the Thai Chilli Café.

Excellent food. Heaps of food for3. Had entrees that were best. … tasty fillings, fresh… fish cakes, money bags, curry puffs. Lovely musaman beef. Hokkien noodles with basil and chicken had a great chiili bite. Very quick service too. Very happy diners tonight.

If you’re after quick tasty Thai then Thai Chilli Café is your place to go. Open not too long ago(late 2014), this eatery has indoor seating that suits both individuals and groups. It also opens 7 days to late. From the menu, you can order your standard thai curries as well as some wok-fried goodness. They’ve also got a range of thai fried rice choices which are delicious. Try the chef’s specials as well for something a little different.(May i suggest the Khao Kluk Kapi — shrimp paste fried rice with sweet pork, apple, omelette and red onion.) The menu is rather extensive and quite impressive for a small kitchen. Expect to spend an average of $ 15(meal + drink). Takeaway is quick and easy and staff are really friendly. This is definitely one of my favourite Thai haunts.
