This venue is much more than it sounds. Sure it was previously a bank but now boasts three levels to explore and a generous size bar in the centre. It has a classic décor and the bartenders dress in 40s/​50s style. Classy.
There was a private function when I dropped in for happy hour but that didn’t stop me from enjoying their special menu at the bar. 2 for 1 cocktails and martinis are a great deal but note that you need to order two of the exact same cocktail to get the discount, otherwise be ready to pay $ 20 each. They have beer and wine specials too, so get there between 5−7pm to enjoy.
I was disappointed in the $ 2 oysters on the half shell. They were luke warm and milky, not appealing for raw seafood. I would skip it and try the arancini balls, as my mate enjoyed them.
Service was excellent and with a perfect location in the CBD, I can easily see myself coming back after work. Cheers!
