I’ve had many a drink here. I like it, but it desperately needs a lift to take advantage of its lovely location. It also needs someone to brighten the wine list. The riesling options, for example, are ridiculously limited.

An old fav revisited which sadly disappointed me. I love the roofbar, it’s semi covered, it’s a large space(eg in has heat lamps for cooler nights) good beer selection and it’s just lovely on a Saturday afternoon. The venue is on 2 floors, the restaurant and then the roofbar. I’ve not eaten in the restaurant below so my review is of the roof top venue only. The rooftop bar does however get horridly busy with after work crowds, most of which seem to be heavy smokers. The menu isn’t impressive and the ban of any substitutions on the pizza(no matter how empty the place is) is regrettable. Also there are no peanuts or crips so your stuck with the pricy menus which is odd to me. Surely they’d rather get crisps into a drinking crowd than them eating nothing. Oh and you can’t pay on card unless it’s $ 30 or above which they don’t tell you when ordering. What a joke.

Super super average. Service was bad(ignored me) to average(took my mate’s plate away WHILEWEWERESTILLEATING). Of course we were there during a corporate Xhristmas party so perhaps the servers had enough of customers and just took all opportunities to speed us on our way outta there. There are much better roof top bars(aer, loop, brussels) to try out or go back to.

Went up directly to the rooftop bar with a limited with about 4 to 5 beer taps, selection and decent bottle selection. They had a special on Peroni or certain mixed drinks. Nice outdoor seating, but the vibe was a bit lacking.

What’s better in the winter months than enjoying the perks of a rooftop bar that is fully covered from the outside elements? Just stepping into Tuscan Bar, I was starting to feel warm. Heck, I even took my coat off. They had space heaters strategically placed throughout their venue. It was wonderful going to a rooftop bar, in the middle of winter, and actually being warm. The atmosphere was not too over powering, plus you had room to walk, space to breathe and move around. And there wasn’t a push and shove vibe just to get to a table with seats.(We’ve all been there.) The waiter came around numerous times to see if we needed anything else. The staff here are very aware of their guests. A gorgeous drink menu, beer, cocktails and a ever-expansive wine list. It was at the Tuscan Bar that I tried mulled wine for the first time. Being a Miami-girl, I’d never heard of mulled wine in my life and I couldn’t wrap my head around the concept behind it. Hot wine… Huh? Isn’t that ruining the wine? I just did not get it. And then I tried it here, hmmm, interesting. I got the nose alright, and sure, it did take some getting used to, a few more sips here and there. But I’ll just say that after popping that cherry, I look forward to having it again. Being completely covered is great in my books. No rain, no wind and no cold to worry about. The over head panel does contract and fold over, so I’m sure when the weather is more delightful, you could enjoy the sky. Tuscan is a pretty, untypical rooftop bar that has a view that will make you feel like you’re not in Melbourne anymore.

Warm atmosphere, great gnocchi, and really nice wine selection. It’s like walking back in time. If i didn’t know I was in Melbourne, I would swear I was in Tuscany. Solid Italian food and service. You have to try the vanilla bean panna cotta with lemon cella and passion fruit jelly. It is spectacular.

Rooftop bar, sunshine, table service with smiles and an actual table!!! Compared to my non experience at Campari rooftop last night this is the venue I’ll be seen at more regularly. I notice a few negative reviews about poor cocktails and grumpy staff, I only had the cider & the staff were happy & helpful so I can’t agree there. Another place to enjoy the drought!!!

Below average sangria and the one star goes especially for the(bad) attitude that staff had. There were six of us and we were taken care of by two different waiters at the roof top. We all felt like both staff thought we should feel privileged to be served by them.

Hands down one of the best rooftop bars in Melbourne. The Erdingers are another reason to go there.

Never Never Never go to this bar and expect a decent cocktail. I paid an exorbitant price for what is possibly the 2nd worst Pina Colada I’ve ever had the misfortune to drink. It’s a simple 3 ingredient drink, shaken or blended… not mixed with a spoon. The the bar manager gave me the dirty eyeball cause a Pina Colada ‘isnt on the menu’ and proceeded to act as if I’d asked him to illegally distil the rum in the basement and grow the pineapple and coconuts in his ass. I wont be back, and I’ll be advising others against wasting their time and money.

Best rooftop bar on the east side of the CBD. Skip Siglo’s. Great big outdoor area, big drinks selection, and a laid-back, non stuffy atmosphere. You will not bump into any self-important«suits» here. THe bartenders were pretty quick when I was there. Very close to 86⁄96 tram. If the sun is out, I highly recommend it.

I’m not quite sure why this place isn’t more popular. Let’s just look at the facts here: * Cocktails * Relaxing ambience(love me some ambience) * Gorgeous décor * One of the best rooftop’s in Melbourne So what’s the problem? I have no idea. It seems Melbourne hasn’t yet discovered this place. Sure, it’s always full but it always seems to be a boring, slightly corporate-y crowd. So maybe the cool kids are frightened off by that? This place is stunning, perfectly located but still secretive, and has an array of drinks available including imported beers, a huge wine list and, of course, the aforementioned cocktails. An absolutely PERFECT venue for a Saturday afternoon drink in summer, but perhaps not the best place to get rowdy.

Melbourne’s great for its rooftop bars. You have places like The Carlton, which is frequented by many, and you also have Tuscan Bar which for some strange reason is less popular. My friend and I only managed to stumble upon this place when we were bar-hopping to random locations we have never heard of. Ambiance: The walls were painted to make the backdrop seem as though you’re in a castle. The darkness is barely illuminated by dim lighting and the most amazing view of the city. So classy and breathtaking! Customer Service: My friends and I were welcomed enthusiastically despite the fact that we were dressed more on the casual side. With how fancy the place looked, I was expecting more awkward looks from the staff but there were none! Everyone was friendly and they also do a mean cocktail! — Looking to take your significant other on a hot date? Tuscan Bar is the way to go. It’s romantic, classy, and great service to boot!
