Waffee is amazing and I miss it all the time! If I lived in Melbourne, I would go here all the time. Perfect for a quick snack or a pick-me-up after work, Waffee is one of my all time favs during my time in the city. They have a good assortment of waffle types — chocolate dipped, blueberry/raspberry! Honestly, you can’t go wrong with the flavors and even a classic liege waffle is so amazing. Staff are so friendly and always ready to help, even when there’s a line. The store also has a cute setup where you can stand in the windows and watch your waffles get cooked, so it always had this kid in a candy shop appeal to me. Love it!

I’d heard about this place when they first opened in Altona, however I never made the effort to drive all the way there to check out their waffles(I did live on the opposite side of town!). But lo and behold, when they opened a store on Swanston St, there was really no more excuse after that. As soon as I waltzed through the door, the aroma of freshly baked waffle goodness just clung to my nose like a sloth to a tree. I tried the original waffle and have been stuck on it ever since! It’s got just the right texture(from the caramelized pearl sugar) giving me a burst of crunchy sweetness from the first bite, then becoming more pleasantly mellow upon further chewing. From time to time I swing by whenever I feel I deserve a humble little treat. I will eventually try some of the other flavours one day, but as of now. no need, coz the original can’t be beaten!

Quite a gem. While visiting Melbourne it was one of the few places I found that new how to make an American cup of coffee. But better yet the waffles were amazing. Highly recommended making a stop at Waffee.

Waffles don’t really do it for me, so while I’m sure they’re good(seeing how that’s their main trade and all) I instead pop in here for a on-the-go coffee some mornings, not because it’s great coffee(although I like the simplicity of their coffee menu) but because it’s usually quieter than other nearby cafes and I’m on my way quickly. Not a rave review I know, but it’s enough to make me repeat customer.

Yummmmmm this place is my guilty pleasure. The original is sweet enough but you can be tempted by the Belgian chocolate or blueberry creations too.

It was okay to me, probably because I picked the original ones. It felt like doughy bread but crispier at the outer layer. Maybe next time I’ll give the raspberry white choc a go.

Both crunchy and soft at the same time, these waffles from Waffee were amazing! The friendly staff were also very accommodating of our pram and toddler and we enjoyed eating by the window watching the people walk by looking for somewhere to fill their bellies!

Walking past Waffee on the busy Swanston St, it was empty! Now, I love waffles so I just had to try it. A row of waffles in in a glass cabinet displayed all the types available and so we dived in and chose three. Raspberry white chocolate, original and triple choc. You can actually see the staff making the waffles fresh through the glass and they are ever so friendly and good at enticing you to buy more! We walked away with three in a beautiful box and by the time we walked out the place was so packed it was like a maze trying to get out! My favourite one was the raspberry white chocolate! Make sure you stop by when you are near Swanston St.

A little taste of heaven has been spawned right in the heart of Melbourne. They’re called Waffee. Waffles has never really intrigued me. It was one of those deserts that didn’t quite spark any interest. Until now. Waffee, a new store located on Swanston street, is definitely a tasty treat to hit Melbourne. Yes, it was already existing in Altona, west of Melbourne, but I wasn’t likely to make my way over there to try a waffle. The shop is quite pretty actually. Its design is fairly simple with a counter and a glass wall to make the process of making waffles visible. Pricing for these amazing waffles are humble. It ranges from 2.80 $ for a basic plain waffle to 4 $ for a flavor explosion. I, unfortunately, took the weak way out and opted for a blueberry waffle which cost 3.60 $, which was actually not bad. The people who serve you there are very friendly. They greet you openly with a smile whilst you walk past the store. Yes, they smile at you while you’re outside. It’s insanely cool. Waffee is definitely the place to be for a waffle. It has got fantastic bang for the buck. The quality of the food is flawless. They’re definitely a welcomed addition to the range of available deserts in Melbourne. Take my tip and buy yourself a waffle today!
