Want that classic 70’s experience with a tennies feel? Order the sweet and sour pork, special fried rice with spring rolls and prawn cutlets and put on some Barry Manilow and you’ve invented a time machine of Hackerman standards. Honestly, it’s good, fresh and tasty.

This has been my staple Chinese take-​away place for a year now. It’s cheap and cheerful, and the owners are always so happy!
My favourites:
Deep Fried Crispy Skin Chicken… for under $ 10 (say whaaaa?!)
Hot & Sour Soup
BBQ Pork Spare Ribs
Every time I pick up and pay for my order, the chef just out from behind the counter and yells «Thank you, good bye!».
It’s a no frills (can’t speak on behalf of the sit-​down section of the restaurant) delicious, family-​run local Chinese place, what more could you want?
Having said that, some meals are a bit of a miss for myself, namely the Garlic Chicken. I wasn’t the biggest fan.
