Good place for a quick bite to eat, we often stop here for a morning snack or an early lunch when shopping around the Homemaker Centre. This is one of my favorite places to get Hot Chocolate in Mt Barker because it’s actually hot, nothing worse than warm hot chocolate. The place attracts a lot of parents with kids and there are toys provided. The range of ready made foods in the cabinet are pretty tasty, it would be nicer if there were some home made cakes, biscuits and slices — most of them seem to be commercially produced. Not that they aren’t nice enough, but nothing special.

Good coffee, one of the better places to get coffee in the Mt Barker area. Relaxed atmosphere, nice staff. This café is very kid friendly, has toys and is clearly often frequented by parents with their kids. Café is sometimes a little untidy, most likely because of the kids, but it’s worth knowing about because you can get a decent coffee.
