Molten Chocolate Cafe

Molten Chocolate is on Commercial Street in Mount Gambier S.A. near Cotton On. It’s a regular Caffe with some pretty looking chocolates and truffles on display at the front counter. The shop is long and narrow and darkly coloured which makes it a little uninviting. Water is provided on a side shelf for customers use, along with some board games like chess and scrabble. Locals seem to enjoy daily specials like bowls of soup with crusty bread. My daughter loved the name hence our visit. However, I based my 2 stars on our coffee and hot chocolate order and probably wouldn’t order from the menu given that experience. The coffee was drinkable but that’s about it. It was watery and flavourless and if a Caffe can’t impress me with their coffee I’m not willing to look further.
