The same folks that have the Ohnamiya at Kearns Crescent in Myaree.
Personally I think this location is better as there is more parking (debatable though as the complex is always packed) and more seats inside to dine in.
This complex is what I refer to as the Chinatown south of the river, there are a few good Asian eateries to choose from.
The menu is extensive at Ohnamiya and it is cheap, very reasonable.
My favourite is the Katsu Don ($ 10.80) and the Mixed Sushi Rice Box which is served with their special sushi rice. The special sushi rice is chicken, fried tofu, avocado and greens, yum!
The décor is very simple and there are large round tables, perfect for groups! You must order at the counter, something I did not realise straight away. There is a hot tea station, help yourself.
I love the little area of Japanese products — green tea, cakes, biscuits, mayo and miso.
