This is definitely a great place to go to! The atmosphere is fresh and light and the customer service is attentive. The menu is quite healthy focused and i ordered a delicious Pitaya bowl that was absolutely divine. The coffee is 5 senses.

A friend of mine and I were stopping overnight in Newcastle to watch a rock show. We woke up to get something to eat before the 7-hour drive north to Byron Bay. We found this place and we were not disappointed! I got the Big Breakfast and it certainly was big! Everything on the plate was fresh — the greens, eggs, bread and bacon. I also ordered a chai latte with my meal, and it was put of this world. Great way to start morning. If I’m ever back in this area, I would definitely make another stop here! PS — Free WiFi

Wow, couldn’t do a toast with the coffee. Peeps didn’t seem very interested with their customers.

This was a fantastic venue for a lazy saturday catch-up with friends. The food was magnefic, crisp, fresh and tasty. their coffee was excellent and the wait staff were prompt and helpful. Everyone left happy and content. Very clean. The particular strenghth of this café is its ornately decorated«hipster sheik» fit out, it is contemporary, crisp and elegant. An enjoyable experience and open café. The food did take a little longer than i would have expected, but it was worth the wait. A Great place for the weekend hang, and coffee.

When it’s Friday morning and you don’t want to go to work and you feel like a coffee with a top feed, this is the place to come. Or at least that’s what I was thinking. Friendly service delivering top notch coffee with plenty of outdoors seating to sit and watch the world go by. The big breakfast was tops as well. Plenty of variety with the ingredients and chorizo. I love chorizo! Work be dammed, I made the right choice.

Very poor customer service. My partner order toast with peanut butter. The most simplest order anyone can possibly make yet it took them 45mins to serve. I had to speak to two different waitress in order to push through the order. One of the waitresses response was ‘the kitchen is VERYBUSY’. But in the span of bringing the food and having waited they managed to bring out more sophisticated dishes. If Toast is a sophisticated dish to plate up… Good luck. Owners need to invest in more polite staffing as well. What a joke.

I really like this place. It has a great vibe inside and I love the music. Only had a latte and the pear raspberry banana bread. I can’t claim there was anything particularly special, but I thoroughly enjoyed both. Worth a trip to Hunter street.

Coffee: great. Ginger and lemongrass tea(T2): very nice. Also had the Manuka salmon and avocado with poached eggs. Both meals served with toast. Very fresh and simple flavours and surprisingly filling. Fairly simple menu which has some great brekkie and lunch meals. Also selection of sandwiches and cakes. Order at the counter, service is quick and friendly. Didn’t wait long for food or drinks. Really like the décor — the chandeliers and stained glass add some class. We studied comfortably for a few hours. Able to use their wifi or access the Newcastle now free wifi. Meal and coffee will run you about 20 dollars per person.
