I am that kind of person that leaves hemming and clothing alterations until the last minute. I often pick outfits that need alteration the day before I need to wear it, which is stupid, but thankfully Hem Express can get it done within the same day (depending on the job).
Now be expected to fork out a bit of cash for this place, if you’ve got the time to get it done at a cheaper place then do that. Or if you don’t mind handing over the dosh, then by all means make this your regular hemming stop, because she does do a fantastic top quality job.
It’s not the easiest place to spot, but it’s on the corner of the intersection of St Bernards and Montacute Road, diagonally across from the Shell service station.

Being the short stautured man that I am, I usually have to find myself one of these fast hemming shops, or risk looking silly with pants that are way too long.
I like the convenience of Hem Express. I can drop my pants off (obviously not the ones I’m wearing), grab a coffee, and know they’ll be finished un ten minutes.
The job they do is pretty good too. Much better than I could do, but I suppose thats not saying much.

I’ve had a couple of pairs of trousers and a jacket’s sleeves shortened here, they do a good, quick job that looks like it should.
A little pricey, but way convenient. There’s parking near by, but it gets a little cramped — there are a couple of spots reserved for Hem Express customers though, so look for them
