Shit place. Been waiting for my order for 100 minutes now and the entrée had been forgotten. Hungrier than a Kenyan during Ramadan

We enjoyed a nice seafood meal, at Bondi’s Best tonight. The restaurant is well presented with indoor, outdoor seating. Is a little hidden from the tourist traffic, probably nice for locals. The menu is a seafood healthy choice, also offering daily fish choices, to be grilled. The staff were attentive, pleasant, service was good. The meals were well presented, small sized, tasty, well priced for Bondi Beach area. I would return to this seafood venue.

The name says it all. I’m not a huge oyster fan but after a sampling of their Sydney rock trio I was ready for seconds. Their tuna tartar was some of the freshest I’ve had. My date’s tsunami roll was outstanding. I don’t know what their secret is but who cares give them a try. Fair prices and a great friendly staff round out a really nice night. Well done, all around.

— Fazit: Don’t miss!

This review is for the new location on Hall St. During our short stay in Bondi we dined at this place twice. The first time we came for the seafood and the second was for the sushi. Having a hard time finding a decent sushi joint in Bondi we opted for the same place we had been to few days earlier. This has to been one of my favorite restaurants that we eat at in Bondi. The seafood taste very fresh and expertly prepared. The sushi is phenomenal and comparable to a high end sushi restaurant. The service matches the exceptional food. No complaints. If your in the mood for seafood or sushi this place will not disappoint.

Bondi’s Best has become a go-to of my boyfriend and mine. Here you’ll find yourself away from the grot of Bondi beach and where the locals eat. Bondi’s Best cooks up a smart fish and chip. Restaurant quality meals from the sea, offered up in a casual place. There are lean and light options like grilled salmon and steamed greens, sleek looking sushi dishes, plus the classic salty battered fish and chips. The batter is gorgeously light, like a Japanese tempura. Stylings are casual and breezy, and the view of Bondi beach is bliss. Summer Sundays should be spent right here. BB has it all

So happy to have found this place. Tiny inside, but the best meal I’ve had in Sydney by far. If you love seafood, go!!! Had the Aburi Salmon Salad, tempura prawns and sweet potato chips along with a glass of Mr. Micks Riesling. And did I mention that you can sit at the front counter and see Bondi Beach.

It’s not just a creative name folks, I truly believe this is Bondi’s best seafood. And apparently so does the rest of the world as more often than not, there’s a sign on the door at the end of the evening noting that certain fish(sometimes even the entire stock) is sold out. Whether you’re grabbing something fresh and practically flopping to take home and prepare yourself, or planning to sit at their outward facing bar(overlooking the glamorous North Bondi bus terminal) and devour some freshly grilled, battered and fried, or sashimi’ed and sushi-rolled fish, you really can’t go wrong. The menu is continually changing with whatever’s fresh and they do a damn good job of preparing it with as little fuss and flash as possible to let the beautiful flavour of the fish speak for itself. My advice? Try whatever roll they have on special. Check out my photos and you’ll understand why.

Bondi’s Best is a fishmonger gone glam with bright, shiny interiors finished with white marble and giant glass display cases. Sit up at the bar inside facing North Bondi or take to their handful of outdoor tables, but beware you might have to wait a while for families to finish up at the four-seaters earlier in the night. Choose your fish or seafood from the likes of snapper, barramundi and salmon and finish it off with one of the many side dish options, including iceberg lettuce with aioli, chives and a soft-boiled egg or parmesan and rocket salads. The crispy skin ocean trout was perfectly pink in the middle, served with roast French beans and beetroot and a wedge of fresh lemon. With all sides priced at $ 5, you’re looking at a starting point of $ 20 for dinner, which isn’t half bad considering this place is also BYO.
