Dann Event Hire

Hired chairs and tables for our wedding in St Kilda Gardens. On the day of the wedding, Dann Event Hire didn’t show up.
That’s right, they NO-​SHOWED.
My husband spent over two hours prior to the ceremony trying to get through to their after hours number but they never answered and also never returned any of those calls. Some emergency line!
A 90 year old grandmother, an aunt and mother both with advanced breast cancer, a family friend with Parkinson’s all had to stand in 30 degree heat because Dann Event Hire failed to show up. We also had hors d’oeuvres and champagne to be served but now with no tables to serve them on — thankfully my family were amazing; they stepped up and served everything «cocktail» style.
Dann Event Hire also failed to provide an explanation when we spoke with them, and we had to chase them three time for our refund. Jessica even laughed when I called them to find out what happened the following day, not something you want to be hearing or doing the day after your wedding. Eventually we were told our booking was «overlooked». Awesome.
I would only recommend this company if I were incentivised on the failure of the event. And even then I’d think twice.
