I loved it here! You pay $ 33 dollars for all you can eat. It’s enjoyable to cook your own food and the meat is marinated well — all tasty! There’s a range or seafood, pork, beef and chicken options! You need to order the drinks separately but they are well priced! A glass of red wine is $ 3.50. It is a full on experience, you’ll end up smelling like Korean BBQ once you’ve finished! I thought the staff were very helpful with respect to needing tongs, handling any cooking issues and changing the pan once it gets sticky from the meat. There’s also some salads, sushi, miso soup, rice, some pre cooked varieties eg stir fry and chicken drumsticks and desserts to choose from. The highlight is cooking your own food though!

we have been to this restaurant a couple of times and i cannot complain. the meat that you bbq is fresh tasty marinade the lettuce is always fresh and crisp. the buffet is not regularly refresh so it is good to get there right on dinner 6.30ish. it is always busy loads of family group. it’s a little overpriced for what you get. .

One word: disappointing. We were seated at the window which had no direct lighting except for a neon green display light and other downlights which were behind us on other tables. This makes it a little difficult to see if your chicken is cooked! There are plenty of meat options available, including seafood, however the salad bar and the slightly warm pre-cooked selections left a lot to be desired. You have a choice of rice, noodles, and 2 types of chicken. The restaurant has no atmosphere. For $ 33, look elsewhere. 5⁄10.

Word of warning: by the time you leave this place everything that has entered this establishment will smell so much of barbecue that you’ll be obliged to both a) wash your clothes and hair ASAP and b) come back and repeat the entire barbecue devouring process. The thing about Lim’s is it is all you can eat. The flat rate for food is $ 30(children inclusive, drinks exclusive), so that’s cheap depending on whether or not you can eat as much as I can(challengers, anyone?) They have those crazy ventilation systems that suspend over your table to the BBQ pit that you cook on. A particular favourite of mine is the marinated belly pork, but they also serve chicken, beef etc and in both marinated and un-marinated form. The cooking process is pretty straight forward — cook as much as you can consume. Any more will incur a wastage charge! Head round the massive central table to get your condiments, side dishes or a selection of cooked food in the bain maries. Round the next lot is dessert — they always have vanilla ice cream and fresh fruit available. In my family there’s a theory that combining watermelon and vanilla ice cream expands your stomach until it hurts — making you from full to bloated, instantaneously. But don’t take my word for it, try it if you dare.
