Tabithas Place

From what I’ve read of Tabithas Place it has a focus on the treats it serves. Unfortunately I’ve not yet tried any of these. I’ll leave this first review to be short, but like my time there.
We wanted a coffee before work so needed to be quick. Walked in to the small shop on York St, and waited. There was one lady in there already, as well as a kid sitting on a bar stool. The lady making the coffee didn’t acknowledge us. After a couple of minutes she looked up and said she won’t be long. Look, I understand you’re busy and can’t serve us, but I would have appreciated some kind of acknowledgement as we walked in. If you can’t handle making one coffee and having one person wait you’re not in the right industry.
When she was finished and ready to take our order I found out that they hadn’t had their decaf delivery on time. Which is fine. But the more you harp on about not getting your delivery the more I feel you’re trying to lay blame on someone else.
The sip of coffee I had from my partners seemed okay. We’d go again in need of coffee but not something I would crave. I know I made this review seem negative but it really wasn’t. It was a nice little store that I feel may just need to get itself sorted in it’s new location. I’m looking forward to re-​reviewing in a few months time to see how they’re going.

When it comes to coffee in Nundah — my heart belongs to C Word. However when Tabitha’s Place opened up between my house and my café I thought I would give it a try.
It’s a cute little shop in the back streets of Nundah. My partner and I popped in there the other day on our way to work.
I wasn’t overly impressed at first due to the fact there was only one staff member in the store and she didn’t acknowledge our presence as she continued to make coffee for the 2 already waiting customers. All she had to say was «hello, with you in a moment» and that would have been fine. She did say something eventually so I can let that go.
She was out of decaf which is fine but she did seem to go on and on complaining about the delivery company which was a little off.
All in all the coffee was actually pretty good so I’ll probably fix up this review in a month or so when they find their feet in that location and have much better things to say!
