we have eaten here on a number of occasions and the food is always tasty, my recent visit we ordered the pork ribs and chicken combo with a Caesar salad, young waiter/server was excellent only complain on the food was the tiny serving of ribs approx. 4 ribs only10cm in length, very different to previous visits.$ 37.95 .I suggest the owner employ a manager for front desk for payment of bills also.

As far as Outback Steakhouses go, this one is not so great. I’ve been a few times for birthdays as well as lunches and dinner and the steak is never brilliant. I normally get medium rare and most of the time it’s a definite medium, sometimes more. For a steakhouse you’d expect a great steak, and I’ve just never had a good one here. The one thing that is great is the entrée fried mushrooms. Nice sauce and the kind of kfc spices on the outside are pretty good.

My favourite restaurant and my favourite location. Parklea outback has the best food, the biggest portions and the best service of any outback in Sydney. I come here about once a month and it’s always perfect. I had an issue with a salad at one time and was offered discounts etc. Very good customer service. I’d recommend it to anyone, especially since there is such a wide variety of food on the menu, and quite a price range, so it can cater to you on payday, or at the end of the month. Love the waiters/waitresses here too.

My tween son loves this place. The food is inconsistent on our last visit the food was 4 out of five, I ordered the Alice springs chicken and it was moist and cooked perfectly. My son was not pleased with his chicken wings however. At other times the chicken has been overlooked and dry. Every time we come there is always some issue with the service. Typically rude staff, but on our last visit our order did not make it to the kitchen and we only got our food after my wife followed up with the wait staff.

Finally tried an Outback chain after 2 years. This chain is 15 minutes from Northmead and traffic wasn’t bad on a Saturday morning. When I reached, there were still quite a number of empty parking spots. Going indoors, I saw the similar layout to the outback in the one I used to be a regular at. Was given a seating for two as I was on my own. Before arriving here, I wanted to try out a dish but after looking at the menu, I decided to go for peppercorn steak instead with mashed potatoes and rice as sides(you are allowed to pick two sides). I also wanted to try the chimichurri sauce on the side. For the steak, I ordered the medium well. Beverages, I ordered two types of lemonades — wild berry and blackberry. Preferred the wild berry even though both are fruity. The drinks are well mixed that I kept on craving for more. Food arrived probably 30−40minutes after ordering. So prior to the arrival of the dish, I finished up the wild berry lemonade. The steak was a little tough and wasn’t that chewy as I thought it might be but the flavoring and herbs added was perfect. The meat was juicy and the sauces made it more flavorful. The side dishes especially the mash was cooked perfectly. The portion wasn’t too bad either. Overall, even though it was a little on the pricier end, I did enjoy my meal. Definitely satisfied my cravings for Outback Steakhouse. They have a variety of desserts as well which looked appetizing. Do give it a try if you are around this area :)

If you’re looking for inexpensive, tasty comfort food this is the place for you! The food is tasty but leaves you feeling heavy and sometimes it’s wise to wear loose clothes lol They have a few signature dishes for example the Alice spring chicken! Mmmm But again, if you’re trying to be healthy, skip this place! It’s got great Texan style food. The only thing I probably wouldn’t recommend is the ribs, they’re not bad but just not worth the money.

You can’t go wrong when you do steak. The steak was good, but they do killer mushrooms! Give it a try and see what happens. Always hard to get a booking or table though

I have lived in Western Sydney for 15 years before and as a young adult, I kept dining out in this restaurant with family and friends. The food here is superb and so delicious that it all just melts in your mouth and throat like it’s a blessing. I love the ribs and pasta, so amazing! The chips are always cooked to perfection. So melting and tasty. It has the perfect décor, the dimming lights makes the venue harmonious, calm and out back Australia beautiful. It really restates the true Australian down-under meaning in its name. I love the wall picture decorations, it makes the room of the dining tables cosy and comfortable. You are able to just relax, put your feet up, watch TV and unwind from your hard day at work, with whatever you do. Absolutely perfect for workmates, for a quick cheap tasty lunch or after work hours dinner bite. The staff are always friendly and tend to attend to your tables very often. They are always on the constant look-out for new staff and the front-house reception always adhere to their regular smile and greeting. The grooming standards are very professional and clean. After a couple of mishaps which I witness every now and then, the staff generously manage to solve the issues. They are very empathetic and polite and courteous and when one time we requested a refund as there were cockroaches in our steak! they gave us a full refund, not just for the steak, but all other meal items on the table such as chips, drinks, appetizers, etc. They know how to handle complaints and are well-trained and professional about it. I will always dine here when I have to travel to Western Sydney often for work or pleasure. It is my No. 1 restaurant in Sydney itself and the best one I have ever been to in Australia.

It was so hot today, when my daughter-in-law came home she said ‘I don’t want to cook, how about we go out for dinner’. So we hopped in her car and went to The Outback Steakhouse. Now I prefer classier restaurants like Ormeggio or La Sala but not being close to either of those my choice was limited and I expected to be disappointed, I wasn’t going to say anything to my son or his partner but I didn’t think The Outback Steakhouse was my cup of tea — how wrong can you be. That old adage, don’t judge a book by its cover really came true here. The staff were attentive, the meal was great, although a little large(very generous helpings) and to finish off I loved the coffee. I had Victoria’s Fillet, a 225gm piece of eye fillet with garlic mash and mushroom sauce. I asked for the steak to arrive blue(or very rare). It did. I have been to better restaurants and have not had steak as nice as this one. They also brought me a side of Caesar salad and the mushroom sauce was in a separate bowl that enabled me to put on as much or as little as I wanted. I must admit the steak was way to big, if I could have asked for a doggy bag my Jack Russell would have had a feast tonight. I left the desserts up to the others: A brownie with cream on top, cream on the side and choc late syrup or crème brûlée the size of a soup bowl. They shared both but allowed me to taste. The crème brûlée was very enjoyable, very smooth and well made. The chocolate brownie was a heart attack on a plate. An enormous brownie with delicious Norgen Vazz ice cream which could feed four people, then whipped cream on the top of it. I could see the calories in front of my eyes. Okay, there’s not a lot of finesse, the plates of food are gigantic and they sell a lot of fattening food(cheesy chips and Chookaburra wings on a blue cream dressing) but for a night out with something very different it was extremely good value for money. They also do a mean cocktail or mocktail. Apparently there are more of The Outback Steakhouse in various suburbs across Sydney. For something new, give it a try, you might be surprised at the quality — I was.
