All of the stars! This has got to be the best doctor’s clinic I’ve ever been to. Not the sort of sentence that gets used often, but darn it — it’s true! I’m willing to come down here from the Northern suburbs because I know I will get well looked after.
The reception staff are friendly and helpful and all the doctors I’ve seen (which is most of them since I just take available appointment times rather than see one doctor regularly) have been excellent. They are really attentive, take the time to listen to you and make sure they get the full story. No hasty prescription writing to bustle you out of the door or ordering of unnecessary tests.
Appointments do tend to run overtime — pretty standard for any GP though — and I would put it down to the doctors being thorough. The waiting room is worth a mention too; plenty of chairs and couches and a big area for kids with plenty toys appropriate for different ages.

The Arkaba Medical Centre was home to my local GP for several years — testimony partly to him, and partly to the centre itself that I kept visiting for some time after moving half an hour away. Sadly he’s retired from there, but all the doctors I saw at the centre showed the same level of professionalism and understanding as he did.
Like any medical centre, they’re often running slightly over time — but always apologetic if your appointment is late. I’m happy to live with that, they managed to squeeze me in for an emergency or two when I needed it, too.
