Thank you so much for your everything you have done for us… I was a little worried that my groom was going to outshine me at the wedding thanks to the suit you made for him, but your alterations to my dress have almost put him back in his place ;) We couldn’t be happier with the quality of the product, or the level of service that your whole team have shown us over the past month or so. We will definitely be back, and would highly recommend anyone to do the same.

Decent shop in good ol’ Unley. Staff were quite attentive. It seems they focus more on suits — but I was not after these. There was a limited selection of shirts and ties; quality and range of these accessories was not as advertised in the website. However, I was in last-minute rush, didn’t want to venture far from this neighborhood, and they delivered. It is an A-OK establishment!

Decided to have a suit made for my new job. Typed tailor made suits Adelaide into Google and this was the first place that popped up so I decided to give them a try. A little about myself: — I don’t barter — I don’t argue — I simply take the experience away & think twice in the future — I do write reviews as I like others to hopefully take something out of what I believe is a fair review — I do not care for free products to sweeten me up & I don’t ask for them My experience with Tailors of Distiction: Walked in very late June and was served by Andrew. I advised that I begin my new role on the 13th July 2015. I asked if the suit will be ready by this date(was not quite sure how long it takes), was advised it will be ready the week following being 20−24th July(I’m not the best mathematician but I gauged roughly 4 – 5 weeks on his advice) so I agreed and we began the process. I advised Andrew that I want a full tailor made suit & shirts to which he replied«our suits are all hand made, best quality and can be altered in a much better way than others». I was happy so we went ahead. As I’m new to the world of suits(spent many years in work uniforms), I made the rookie mistake of not asking if the suit is actually hand made in Adelaide. I was not told where the suit or shirts are made I simply fooled myself into believing it is made in Adelaide. The package was $ 2500 for a 2 x trouser suit &3 shirts. Andrew threw in a free shirt. Andrew did ask what cuff links I like and wrote that on the order form. I believed they come with the $ 200ea shirts. Also on the day Andrew advised that he will throw in a free pair of loafers(if he had my size) as I was looking at them and enquired about the price. Now that you have the basics here are the pros & cons: Pros: — very good quality material — very good fit Cons: — suit took 10 weeks to be made & delivered to Australia. When I enquired after week 8 and was told the suit hasn’t arrived yet but the shirts were here I sent an email asking where is this suit coming from & where were the suit & shirts made. I was gob-smacked with the answer(below). I was told by Andrew that they are open to telling customers where these garments are made… I was not told until I asked. I read the website and could not find any info on where they are made(maybe I’m not looking hard enough so I stand to be corrected). I was also at this stage told that a free tie will be included. I finished this convo by advising that I did want a suit made for my current role & not my next role! — suit supposedly made in UK — shirts made in Asia(Macau) — did not receive cuff links, loafers or tie(as I wrote earlier I don’t ask for free stuff) — when I got home I checked the suit and could not find any cuff links so I called as I was under the impression when Andrew wrote the details on the order form they would be included, spoke to Andrew & was advised that they are not included however he will have a look and if he has any spare he will give them to me. I told him not to worry as I can buy my own! In conclusion if you want a good quality suit & shirts made off shore this is the place. I will not be utilising their services in the future.

I came to Adelaide from Los Angeles for my best friend’s wedding, and we booked this tailor to alter our suits a week before the wedding. At first, the staff seemed annoyed that we brought our own suits and didn’t purchase our suits with them. After our fitting, we were absolutely floored at the cost of having our suits tailored. Between 6 suits, we averaged $ 200 in alterations per suit(totaled over $ 1400 just to have the suits altered)!! While shocked at the cost, we decided to take it on the chin as we didn’t want to stress the groom prior to the wedding. Upon receiving the suits(the day prior to the wedding) there were threads hanging down from the altered pieces, as well as chalk marks still on the suits from the alterations! The interior of the store surely has a nice and high class feel, and have some fancy, quality overpriced suits in their inventory, but make no mistake about it, this place is more about making a profit than pleasing the client. It’s actually unfortunate, because it has the potential to be a nice spot. But I think they need a wake up call. Hopefully this is it.
