Spotted a few branches of Nando’s and decided to head in for lunch on a Monday. This store is located opposite of the Parramatta train station along with other dining options next to it. The store was pretty inviting and since there wasn’t much customers, I managed to sit next to the windows at the side. Didn’t notice that there was an option for ¼ chicken and chips(aka fries) combo.(Probably I might missed out from the menu but just ordered instead as I’ve experienced dining at other Nando’s prior to this location in Singapore). The waitress tallied up the bill and it came up to about $ 11 which was definitely a good pricing especially where there is a mall nearby. After paying, you would have to get your utensils(fork and knife), napkins and glass bottled sauces if you needed more than what you are given. The food came in about 5 minutes. The chips were crunchy and the peri peri sprinkles definitely added the peppery taste to it. The chips were given in a larger portion than imagined. The chicken was a little too overcooked on some sides(burnt markings) but it was tender and juicy. The hot sauce also really hits the tastebuds(in a good way). Overall, I didn’t expect it to be less pricy and the food definitely satisfied my cravings. This definitely adds on to «my budget friendly and will come back again» list.

The address says Church Street but it’s not, that’s just the address of Westfield’s. Nope, this Nando’s is located right across the road from Parramatta train station. If you drive, you have loads of parking at Westfield’s. Access is easy by public transport for if you get off are Parramatta station, you pass under the road and up the escalator. You’ll see Max Brenner’s but if you head down the road towards Church Street, Nando’s is the first restaurant you reach. I hadn’t sunk my carnivorous teeth into anything Nando’s since we lived at Rockhamtpon where Nando’s be my taste bud’s best friend. With the missus and one teenage daughter, we ordered our sweet delicious yummy meals. My daughter something from the pita range, the missus from the wrap range while I had a burger with extra hot sauce which as usual, could be hotter but the taste is be-yew-tee-full. It’s a clean place. Tidy and not messy. The staff were polite and helpful. Food presentation was perfect. Drinks are only of the Coca Cola products plus a small range of juices. Overally, we did enjoy our meal and I would eat there again.
