Mini Espresso is my go to for my morning coffee. The staff are always friendly Peter is very entertaining and the coffee is fantastic and fairly reasonably priced. They also offer a grande size for those needing an extra hit. A devout skinny long mac drinker they manage to keep the creaminess with a good hit of coffee. The only flag is wait time so your best bet is to make your visit at either 7.30am or 9.00am but I quite enjoy having a bit of time to relax and the read the paper — definitley worth the wait. You can also text your order if you are really not one for patience. Also, if you are looking for a place to meet clients or to sit probably not the right spot as there is limited sitting and can be quite loud. In terms of food it is more of a grab-and-go idea and would recommend the ham and cheese toastie.

Mini by name, and mini by nature. London Court’s famed espresso bar is for people who are hardcore about their coffee. You won’t find orange mocha frappacino’s here! Mini Espresso does not muck about. Their drinks are more like a piccolo latte style — short, sweet and whack a mean punch. After you’ve tasted the smooth crema of Europe’s espressos, the bitter and gritty taste of Australia’s short blacks is disappointing to say the least. I’m not saying this espresso bar is a little taste of Italy right here in Perth, but it’s serious, uncommercialised coffee at its best.

You get a good sense of what this joint offers from the other reviewers; spectacular coffee served in a portable cup. It’s not a great place to stop if you want to have a relaxing coffee(there are other places in London Court or out on the nearby Terrace for this), as there is only a couple of small benches to sit on, but it’s the best place in town if you’re looking for a quick takeaway coffee.

This isn’t really your meet a friend for coffee place. Its more a, I need a really good coffee and I am in a rush, kind of coffee. I work in the city and let me just say, this place is heaven in the morning. The coffee is made to perfection, I have not once had a bad experience, everyday its just as creamy just as strong as the day before. I actually like the fact that it is little, it is like all of their attention is focussed on brewing perfect coffee.

Obviously not somewhere you are going to come, sit down, read a newspaper and while away an hour, it is simply too mini. The coffee however gives you a much bigger than mini hit. They are so tasty smooth and well presented. The best thing about the coffee is that they don’t burn their beans which usually leaves an aftertaste. They have their competition on London Court, especially cafes that offer seating but you have to accept this for what it is, a settled coffee van.

Like Volkswagen’s version, Mini Espresso is a cute, neat package of superior quality and smoothness. The coffee is oh so velvety and creamy with just enough zoom! to perk your enthusiasm. As you might have guessed the shop space itself is mini, with miniature chairs and minimal space for sitting. Mini Espresso is a take-away coffee joint you see, and chairs are only provided as temporary resting stoops. They mainly supply the St. George’s Tce worker with their morning cup of motivation, hence the Mon-Fri only operating hours.
