Pulse

This store is really cool with a funky urban/​vintage edge. I was (unfortunately for my budget) in there at their end of January sale containing the most beautiful clothes. Men and women’s clothing all their fabrics are beautiful, bright and summery colours and designs. It is also a great place to buy gifts for people as I saw some beautiful recycled accessories with a quirky clever edge. I loved the satchels and handbags which line the walls underneath cool prints and posters. Pulse also sells necklaces and jewellery not to mention the shoes SHOOES which range from jelly material stilettos to cool flats mainly in red and other bright colours. The shop assistant was a little bit too enthusiastic about me trying on things and telling me things looked good when some of them clearly didn’t which made the situation a little uncomfortable but I got a beautiful Ladakh dress for $ 55 which I love!

In between the high street clothing stores and bohemian record and book stores, is Pulse a tiny clothing store that appears barely noticeable from the outside but once you step inside your focus zooms in on the stunning clothes and you cannot stop yourself picking up pieces to try on. They have both mens and women’s and carry a few collections at a time offering all types of clothing and accessories. Their bags are to die for, some beautiful leather handbags and purses and even some bags made of recycled road signs, amazing! They are simple and creative, I’d definitely recommend heading in.
