When I had a few days off work I just had to try this place, it was the only time I could get over there to try it as their hours are from 11am-2pm Monday-Friday. Went on a Monday with my partner and we were given a hummus feast by the lovely owners as she recognised us from a previous event we attended last year. We only wanted to share the hummus + beef & crisps which is mid eastern spiced beef topped with pita chips & paprika but she insisted on also letting us try the hummus + club mix which is falafel, mid eastern salad & tahini and also we tried some kibbe(amazing a definite must try) a beef and burghul shell filled with sautéed beef, mid eastern spices, onions & almonds. Everything had so much flavour — at the counter you can add your own chilli sauce which went well with the kibbe. This pop-up is only here until March but hopefully they can stay open a little bit longer and hopefully on weekends to so people can try the delicious hummus.

TL;DR — Great food, add your own seasoning, great weekday lunch spot! Love this! A quick & easy lunch for a week day. I had the Falafel bowl(Club Mix?) It was really delicious, a little under-seasoned for my tastes, but I add salt to everything & a little oily. That being said — I was disappointed I wasn’t able to finish the serving. The bowls are deceptively large & I will definitely go back to try more of their menu. I know they had condiments up where you collect your food — I might just use them next time.

Trying them at the Unilocal botanical balcony party. Not bad i must say friendly people too. Worth the wait in the queue.

Tucked away in the basement level of Trinity Arcade, The Hummus Club stands out from the crowd with clean, bold design choices. I ordered the Beef and Crisps hummus bowl with pomegranate lemonade and my friend ordered the Falafel. Both of us agreed that the serving side was generous and the food was well presented. There was just a little bit of a zing lacking in the hummus that we’d both hoped would be there — maybe a little garlic or salt required? It wasn’t that it was bad, it just wasn’t the flavour explosion we’d hoped for. The pomegranate lemonade was great, tart and delicious, hitting the spot on a hot day.

A couple of visits in and I enjoy the hummus club; my favourite has to be the FLT as it is easy to eat on the go at lunch time and it is a bit lighter than some of the other dishes. Good vegetarian options(or not) quick and pleasant service and best of all the food hall is not to busy. Only thing to note is the slightly earlier than normal closing time of 2:30 so don’t miss out.

Just down trinity arcade I found a GEM! I ordered the chickity boom. Chicken and hummus my two favourites I was offered a loyalty card straight away. And now have filled up nearly all my stamps. Next I am going to try the Shroom — which is one of their great vegetarian options.

H is for Hommus and the best place to find it is at the Hommus Club Pop Up in Trinity Arcade! I have been their number one fan, ever since I first tried a Hommus Club Mix at the Urban Orchard. The hommus is so fresh and tasty it makes you constantly crave it! I am an addict I admit, so on my days off, I head here for my fix. I am slowly working my way through the menu, but my favourites so far are the Club Mix, the FLT and the Felafel Box. The Club Mix has a generous serving of delicious hommus, tasty felafels, pita bread and fresh salad topped with crunchy pita crisps. The FLT is an excellent choice as it consists of a fresh pita wrap slathered generously with hommus and filled with felafel and fresh salad. The chilli adds an extra dimension to it and makes the flavour pop. After one mouthful you will be sold! My preference is no onion, so the staff kindly left it out of my salad. The Felafel Box has 7 large felafel with tahini sauce, I find it hard to share as I do love my felafel and these are the best you will find! It is hard not to go into raptures about the felafel, suffice it to say they are scrumptious, light and not oily! There are many other tempting items on the menu which I will intend trying in the near future! The sautéed mushrooms served on hommus looks interesting and I am looking forward to the kibbe. The pomegranate lemonade that is served is refreshing and a fine accompaniment to your meal! If you want a sweet ending, try a piece of the baklava, you will be glad you did! The staff at the Hommus Club are always so lovely, no matter how busy they get. So kudos to Kaitlyn and the rest of the crew, who work tirelessly to ensure that you have a wonderful experience each and every time you drop by! My wish for 2016 is that the Hommus Club is a permanent fixture in the city, so fingers crossed!

I finally made it to The Hummus Club after convincing a friend to ditch our usual lunch meeting point! I am a huge fan of hummus and after looking through some of the reviews knew what I was already going to order when I got there. I tried the Hummus + Club Mix which was delicious, the falafels were perfect and the hummus and added salad delicious. Service was super quick and there is plenty of seating in the area nearby. I did find it a little pricey for lunch however and I agree with some of the other reviews that the bread would have been much better warmed up! All up a winner for me, and I will definitely be sneaking back before the Christmas break to grab my hummus fix before they close for the Christmas break.

Well presented alternative food but I didn’t like it. I went here randomly & thought it looked interesting. Ordered the safest thing on the menu, a beef & hummus dish and it looked amazing. But I just didn’t like eating all that hummus, especially with a inadequate amount of bread. Won’t go back but I’m sure it’s someone else’s paradise.

Love this place! I have become a total hummus addict! My favourite way they serve hummus is in a wrap and called an Flt($ 11.50) with warm falafels, and salad and chilli for an extra kick! I do however love every single menu item. for example– ‘Shroom’- hummus with mushrooms($ 12.50) Club Mix’- falafels, hummus, salad, pita chips($ 13). They even have unique pomegranate lemonade to accompany your meal and baklava. Also five items on the menu are vegan which just makes this place that much better. I wish I had thought of the amazing name and concept behind this store it’s so good! I also wish it was less popular and that I could save it for myself and just eat all the hummus and that it was open longer than 11−2pm on weekdays!!!

Hummus is where the heart is for me! I’m glad that places specialising on hummus are becoming more popular as London was too far for me to travel to go to one of fave hummus spots or even the middle east. The menu is straightforward with no fancy, gourmet mixes, keeping the hummus there number one love and priority. I ordered the club mix– 3 falafels, middle eastern salad and tahini $ 13.50 and pomegranate lemonade. Along with your meal you get a serve of Lebanese flat bread. This delicious dip was the right consistency making it easy to dip my flat bread in and my falafels where moist. The salad was nothing special– leaves, tomato, olives etc. The serves are very generous and filling. This place will definitely be my hummus-side.

Having high expectations about the hummus at the hummus club I popped into a busy queue on a Thursday lunch hour to get myself the flt(falafel wrap with hummus) for 11.95. I also asked for the additional chilli. Being called the hummus club I expected varying kinds of hummus. Eggplant infused hummus, chilli infused hummus, garlic infused hummus. But all they have is plain hummus. The flt is just falafels wrapped up in Lebanese bread(khaboos) with one or two pieces of veggies and a small dollop of tasteless hummus. The most disappointing falafel wrap ever. And the chilli tasted non existent. The falafels were dry and very un flavoursome. I’ve had better falafel wraps from Lebanese kebab shops at 2am. What is all the fuss about?

I’m a hummus addict and it is rare for me to go even a day without at least one dose. To discover a popup dedicated to hummus and falafel is just too good to be true. The food I got was pretty tasty, and I will definitely be back for more. About half the menu is vegetarian, which makes me really happy because nothing makes me sadder than being confronted with a delicious looking menu from which I can only order one item. While it isn’t the cheapest eat around, you can get a wrap and a cup of their absolutely drool-worthy pomegranate lemonade for about $ 15. Finally, as far as food halls go, the lower level of Trinity Arcade is quite peaceful and clean with lots of nice seating.

Who knew that eating so much hummus could be so delicious? I was taken here for a quick city lunch and was super impressed with the bowl of deliciousness I was given. Hummus, salad, crispy fried pitta and a few felafel all topped with the most amazing zingy dressing(is that pomegranate molasses I detect?). Rip the bread and use pieces as a scoop to get that goodness in to your mouth. As others mention, the bread would be so much better served warm. I’d also love to be able to get more salad as sometimes you just want some roughage!

Usually I’m a reluctant hummus eater because when you buy it from the shops it just doesn’t taste right. The hummus from the hummus club was the perfect texture and taste, and was so fresh! I really hope the hummus club becomes a permanent part of the city because you never know when you’ll get a craving for hummus, and the packaged stuff just doesn’t cut it for me anymore

I dare you to find more fluffy and delicious falafel than those served up at The Hummus Club! The last two times I have been in the CBD I have headed straight to The Hummus Club for their mixed bowl — falafel and salad on a bed of hummus and served with flat bread. There’s other meat and vegetarian options served in a bowl with their fantastic hummus, plus a salad main and a wrap/kebab dish. I love this healthy and delicious Middle Eastern lunchtime option. My only feedback would be for them to start warming their bread up. Warm bread is immeasurably better than cold bread, especially when mopping up hummus.

We loved the food here and their speciality pomegranate lemonade. Only disappointment being the the cold pita bread. A healthy lunch reasonably priced

Pop-up restaurant serving authentic Middle Eastern food in the cool and quiet of Trinity Arcade. Still the same great tasting vegan food as at the market stall but with now including meat dishes cooked and prepared separately. Still the friendly, awesome team that staff the market stall with a few more friendly faces to cover the extra work. Their famous pomegranate lemonade(pomelade!) and water for drinks. Same low prices with decent size servings. Another winner!
