Macleay on Manning in Potts Point is a home wares shop with a twist, or maybe it is just a twisted home wares shop, eithe way it is a great shop and definitely worth checking out. I’m not sure if home wares, is the most accurate description, I think it is more accurate to say they sell stuff, whether you are looking for a unique and interesting gift or if you (like me) collect interesting objects to create your own bizarre little world, this is one shop where you will find it.
I now for the first time in my life want a baby, not one that I have to feed, change or talk to but one of the frightening demonic babies on sale in Macleay and Manning. These babies are truly creepy they have an evil look in their eyes and their little outstretched arms seem like if you leaned too close they might reach right into your chest and remove your soul, they are so cool I WANT ONE!
They sell woven cane dogs too and cushions with faces, among other very interesting things, great shop.
