Its a quick stop on my walk to work. The coffee is decent and the food is good. They have lots of home made treats to try and the service is normally speedy. The only off putting element about café number 12 is the the cold reception you sometimes recieve. I have been calling in regularly for over 6 months and still there is no sign of recognition or warmth. Considering this place is competing against some big guns in the area like Tall Timber, the customer service is a little disappointing. I keep coming back cause its quick & convienent.

I like to support local business. Café number 12 is run by a couple of dudes in Prahran. Its up the road from tall Timber, which believe me is great in its own right.
Café number 12 has a more homey, personal feel to it.
I love the coffee and all of the homemade treats on offer. I never have to wait long for my order and it offers free wifi.
On principle, I’ll be going here for my pre work caffeine fix.
