A pretty big asian grocery store where you can get most of your asian ingredients. Cons: — Cash only(double boo!) — Very little Korean food/ingredients — Though veggies are cheap, they are extremely dirty /a lot of bugs & worms — some of the items are overpriced Pros: — One of the bigger asian grocery store around that area — A wide range of ramen noodles/sauces — it’s never packed so it makes shopping easier

«Stuff it, tonight I feel like learning how to cook Pad Kee Mao from scratch.» This is my usual train of thought on a Thursday, the night I generally try and muster up a new Asian dish. Once I find a recipe, I head on in to Randwick Oriental Supermarket — the goto place for your Asian cooking needs. Every style of cuisine is covered, along with meat, veg, frozen goods and cooking utensils. I have to admit, my popularity amongst friends has surged thanks to their frozen dumplings($ 5 for a kilo and imo taste as good as ANYWHERE shallow fried or cooked in bamboo steamers) accompanied by some dumpling sauce and maybe a bit of sambal for the brave. Staff are quite helpful and do not make you feel intimidated if you ask naïve questions. Cash only
