It works for a quick, healthy lunch in a pinch. My salad, while substantial for the price($ 12) really lacked flavor. I think if they could tweak the watery, flavorless salad dressing they’d be on to it and I’d be back. I liked that they added a little slice of totrilla/Flatbread, but it was refrigerator cold– if they just warmed or toasted it quickly it would even better. My juice was fresh and flavorful. I would like to give breakfast a go here, as they have some good options(and very reasonably priced for Sydney) beyond the haloumi avo smash that you see at every other café.

This appeals to people who like to have the option of creating custom salads or who want variety as they have a fairly wide selection to choose from. I have been here many times and have tried several different salads. I kept trying to figure out what was«off» about it. Then it occurred to me — their salads are always wet and drippy. I’m not sure if it’s because of the watered down dressing they pour on or water on the leaves, but it ruins it a bit. On the plus side, the variety is huge and the ingredients are fresh. I’ve tried a few of their smoothies too… SO watery!!! It’s all the milk and doesn’t even resemble a smoothie — you can hardly taste the fruit! There are a few other cafes around the area with much better smoothies. However their beef goulash(served during winter) is warm and hearty and I do enjoy getting that.
