As per previous reviews, my initial judgement on whether I return to establishments like this is that little seaweed wrapped version of the Aussie sausage roll: Sushi: D Looking at the menu, they had a mixture of food choices including the sushi rolls. On this visit I had the crispy chicken & teriyaki chicken sushi rolls. The temperature and texture was spot on which can quite often account for 75% of the sushi enjoyment. That’s about where it finished. The crispy chicken sushi wasn’t really crispy chicken, but like a cheap processed crumbed chicken with more crumbs thanks chicken. The teriyaki nearly had more avocado than rice in it. Personally I would not return because of this one epic fail. On the other hand, the place was nicely presented, and what other people were eating, did look appetising. Unfortunately it doesn’t cut the mustard with me through the infamous Michael Sushi Test.

It’s really generic, it’s not too bad but nothing special about this place. The food is really cheap and they have a lot of varieties. I ordered chicken don and bento teriyaki box. They both are alright. It seems like one of those non-Japanese Japanese restaurant.

Totally love this place! Fresh fresh sushi, wonderful noodle dishes & some really different small options(duck handroll anyone) This place is always veru hussle & bussle & draws a huge lunch crowd between 12 — 3. Expect a slight wait but nothing to huge. The staff are so friendly & will make suggestions if you are struggling to make a choice. Richmond desperatly needed a good Japanese place that did more than your usual noodle & sushi dishes. They are closed on Sundays which is upsetting, they also do byo wine & are fully licensed.
