Slowly getting there and finding it’s feet. The space at the moment is basic and plain, but was lived up a little bit with some colorful grand opening decorations. Hernand is certainly a character, and of course the owner and part time red rooster star is the essence of this place. The menu at the moment is small yet still good, but hopefully with time and popularity, this will increase. Chorizo is a decent sausage, and empanada’s are great. I’d like to see this empanada family increase, along with it’s beverage cousins. This place should be a little more in the swing of things come the height of summer, right now its modest beginnings.

The one downside: You’re eating in a record store. It’s not a restaurant. When you’re trying to eat dinner and there’s a concert going on in the back of the store, which is blocking your access to the window from which your grilled meats appear, It can be frustrating.
