If you ever have a hangover or just craving a burger, than I suggest you make the drive out to Riverhills. By far the best taste and value for money. Whatever you are craving; chicken, lamb, meatless or steak you have options. Plus with excellent names such as 4 squared, t-Rex and cheese me plz it’s hard to pick something you’ve tried before. Excellent service and really good value for money. Worth the drive! Do it!

Best burgers I’ve ever consumed. My favourite is the noble nibble, and the beer battered chips are just amazing, And the crew there are super friendly! I highly recommend. Also I noticed the burger buns had changed, from a crunchy roll to a fancy bun — I’m a huge fan of the crunchy roll is this still available does anyone know?

Quite easily the best burgers in Brisbane(and I am quite sure they have actually been voted this prestigious title as well). In fact, Just Poppy’s burgers are better than any burger I consumed in America.(Woah, quite the disclaimer, I know.) I live approximately a 45 minute drive from Just Poppy’s and I can honestly say I have lost count of the amount of times I have been there in the last 6 months since discovering it. I would personally recommend the Super Chicken Little(with extra pineapple, of course) and a serve of beer battered fries with calypso sauce to truly experience Just Poppy’s burger ecstasy. You also certainly get a lot of bang for your buck as these burgers are huge. Prepare yourself for the drive and come hungry because these burgers are simply amazing.

My friend recommended I try this place out, right around the corner from where I live. It’s located in a cosy little Middle Park shopping centre. the shops in this centre are far from the glitz and glamour of Park Road, it is modest at best. Just Poppy’s specialise in burgers as well as fish and chips. They have many many burgers… over 50 I would have to say at least looking at their menu. I had a burger with beetroot, bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, a homestyle beef patty and barbeque sauce… let’s just say, it came out pretty damn big. So big most of the ingredients fell out the bottom onto the paper bag it came in after my first and second bite(don’t you hate that). I would be lying if I said the burger sucked because I couldn’t get my act together enough to hold it together literally, but it was quite nice. It was value for money and I was definetely full after that, don’t even get me started on the chips we ordered, we couldn’t touch them. If I could offer any critique, it would be that the burgers could be a bit smaller(never thought i’d say that) and maybe the buns could be toasted a little more so they didn’t just fall apart into the burger falling through the burger. Definetely worth a try if you’re a local or in the centenary area.
