Nice clean modern looking shop. Friendly service and absolutely beautiful fresh food. A good sign was it was busy and also you usually can tell the quakity by the calamari. Was tender and easy to bite into not tough and stringy. Bloody cheap as well as far as take away fish and chips go. Highly recomended. Pitty they dont deliver though…

For a little suburban takeaway, they do pretty fancy fish. I guess that’s why they call it Fancy Fish. My fish and chips have been really fresh every time I’ve gone here, with generous sizes. Options for salt or chicken salt or no salt (always good to know) and the fish is always really juicy and fresh tasting, never over fried if you catch my drift. Gone brown or the sort.
As a bonus, this place also stock an assortment of handmade sushi rolls. So if your friends feel like fish and chips and you feel like sushi, voila, it’s a magical connection. The owners are really friendly and down to earth, you get really quick service and if you ask politely, they will make you more sushi rolls if they are out. Try the crumbed barramundi or the grilled snapper. Very nice.
